The School's Prom

I take my best suit and tie.
Head out ready to die.
Not sure if anyone's willing
to dance with me, I might just be
Going for the food.
But really it's for you.

I head to school,
And when I saw you,
May I just say. You are so cool.

A girl so elegant so dazzling.
A white dress so shining.

"May I dance with you?"
You said sure.
My heart starts to race.
I should be ready to embrace.

You have such a beautiful face.
I feel like such a disgrace.

An ordinary guy,
and a girl dancing with such
Grace.

People watch us as we dance.
You're so graceful,
So beautiful.

If this is all dream.
I'd wish not to wake up.
Because here I'm happy with you.
