Heart's Door

I once kept my door locked.
Keeping everyone out.
But you knocked at my
Heart's door.

Looking at the peephole
I said come in—and welcomed
You with a warm home,
With a burning fireplace.

Like my feelings for you.
I trusted you—so I gave you
The keys to my heart.
So you would never have to knock.

But suddenly you depart.
Along with the keys to my heart.
Now no one else can open my
Door—Even I cannot.

Will you ever come back
With the keys of my heart?
Let's have a brand new start.
Let's finish our unfinished art.

I'll be waiting for you at my
doorstep—For you to return,
along with The keys to my heart.
So we can have a brand new start.
