"Now, can we have an important announcement from HQ. The results of the Battler Party voting are in." Dali announced. The students stopped what they were doing and listened as they were getting antsy. Iruma remembered his words. "Senpai! Why don't we try for the Grand Prize at the Battler Party?"
"The Battler Party's Most Valuable Battler is..."
It was silent in anticipation but cut down short when Dali said sheepishly much to the chagrin funny shocks of the students. "Look forward to that announcement during the Closing Spectacular! Tee-hee!"
The final event of the Battler Party, the Closing Spectacular. Here, excellent Battlers are acknowledged and given fabulous prizes. Students and teachers congregated.
Asmodeus smiled. "They're finally announcing it!"
"We're going to take the Grand Prize!" Clara added.
"We certainly will." Kuro agreed with Clara.
"Yeah," Iruma said and Hayami gave a slow nod.
"The Demon King Battler will be taking the Grand Prize!" Sabnock proclaimed.
Because Battler members who are awarded the Grand Prize get to go up a rank, every Battler wants to win it.
"Senpai! Why don't we try for the Grand Prize at the Battler Party?" Iruma recalled his words of encouragement to his senpai, Kiriwo.
Tapping on the microphone, the student council member spoke, "We will now begin the Excellent Battler Award Ceremony." The students break out in hollers then the curtains unveiled three reward plaques. The Wow Award, Grand Prize and You Did Your Best Award. "And now, our presenter... Our beloved president, Azazel Amari!"
Amari, dressed in elegance, stepped in with dignity in her fierce stance, students cheered as she gave a hand wave and went on stage. She took the microphone. "You all did well. I'm very happy that this year ended up being grand and joyous affair. And now, let us move on to the awards. In third place...The You Did Your Best Award...The Succubus Battler!" The screen displayed the words "Succubus Battler". "During the Party Eve and Party Day, they used their elegance to keep the event lively, which got them the votes. As their prize, they will be receiving a luxurious club room." The screen displayed what the room looked like and it was a very beautiful room suited for them.
"Aww, we didn't get it." Clara pouted.
"It's too early to say that, Valac," Kuro said.
"This is still third place," Asmodeus said while Iruma and Hayami were clapping.
"When are they announcing the Grand Prize?" Sabnock said impatiently.
"There, There." Lied said to Sabnock.
"Next up, we have second place. Second place is the Wow Award!" The screen displayed the Battler name "The New Magic Battler". "The New Magic Battler!" Loud hollers came from the students again.
"We didn't get it!" Clara glanced at them.
"We shall be taking the Grand Prize." Sabnock confidently said, bowing slightly so he was somewhere by their height.
"Give it a rest!" Asmodeus said agitated.
"The New Magic Battler had a magic experience corner and expanded on the development of magic via interactions with the student body. Their magic was a sight to behold. As a prize, they receive a year's supply of black holy water to use in further magical development." Amari said. Dali had to give a little jab to the Battler's captain who told him to be quiet and they would get the grand prize next time.
The lights shut off for the last prize reveal. "And now..." The light shone over Amari. "The last prize. Are all of you ready?"
"Here it comes!" Clara said.
