17. Zain

Sharp pain shoots in my head when I try to open my eyes and Sunlight falls from the window on the bed . Which bed ?

I look around to find myself in completely unfamiliar surroundings . I was going to look for inayat , then how did I end up here ?

"Who has a death wish "I snarl getting up from the bed as I look for my phone around.

"Finally you are up" a girl comes into my vision and she looks really similar to someone from head to toe.

"Who does she look like " I mumble and then speak out loudly "who are you "

"Ohh you must be thinking about Zara when you look at me " she sits on a couch in front of me and even her walking style is like Zara .
She is literally her first copy .

"Do you know how much time I've spent on you Mr Oberoi " she smiles "you might not have a single clue "

"What do you mean" I deadpan .

"Okay , let me start from the start " she turns on the large screen on the wall on front of me and a series of Zara's pictures start playing .

"There was a guy I liked when I was in high school, the same school where Zara , Inayat, Shruti and kainat studied . At that time I was very ugly and naive. When I confessed my love to him , he compared me to her ! Your brother's girlfriend. He said I can never be at her level , so I made it my mission, the motive of my life to come to her level . From her shoes to her bags, her walking style to her talking style , I learnt everything . If she ate a sandwich in the breakfast, I did the same. I became the identical copy of High school's queen and DEU's Empress but recently something changed when I came to know that she was seeing someone , that someone turned out to be your brother , Archit Oberoi . So who should I be dating ? " She smirks.

I've seen a lot of crazy people but she is on another level of crazy .

" His younger brother Zain Oberoi. Then I learnt everything about you, what you like , what you don't , where you go , what you eat"

I look at the screen to find a lot of pics of mine . Some are at DEU's campus and in the BHU . Some from boxing matches and some while beating people .

"But , there was a tiny red haired issue standing between me and you . Inayat Fucking Goenka , your best friend " she spits out . I seriously want to cut off her head right now but not before she tells me the whole truth.

"I had no issues in whatever she was doing untill I realized that you have become obsessed with her . Then she needed to be taught a lesson . So I got a few cameras installed in the locker rooms she uses mostly"

She plays a video and my heart freezes at the moment . The video is of a girls locker where inayat comes inside after the sports period to take a shower . She enter the stall and begins undressing. I clench and unclench my fists as my blood boils .

"Turn it off " I speak as calmly as I can and she begins laughing.

"I said turn it off " I smash a lamp on the screen which now cracks and goes black .

"Woah woah --- calm down Zain my baby " she chuckles and I grab her throat raising her from the ground.

"So this is the reason why " I squeez her throat and she speaks with a cracked voice "Leave me or the videos will go viral "

I instantly make her stand on the ground and she rubs a hand on her neck .

"Good .Now , where was I, yeah if you want me to keep these videos safe forever then you will be mine " she rubs her finger nail on my jawline .

"Won't you do that for your Coco "

"No he won't " the door opens revealing Zara and Archit .

"While looking for you we found this place and she heard it all " Archit speaks while Zara comes face to face with this pshycho woman .

"I know you're Varun's younger sister, I was already suspicious why he was around Inayat so much . He gave you all the information right "

The girl smiles and then offers a handshake "finally , hello Zara , I'm Vamika "

Zara pushes her on the couch and she falls back.

"Hello to my shameless act-alike "

"I'm going to kill her right away " I step forward but archit holds me "let her deal with it or she'll forever live in the guilt "

"I will live in the guilt too, do you even know how I'm feeling right now big brother?"

"Calm down Zain , she's gonna delete the data from everywhere , won't you vamika ? "

The girl begins laughing and waves a hand "do you think I'll let it all go to waste?"

"Let what go to waste ? Do you even have a life of your own? You just live to copy me and you don't even know what my struggles are "

"You have no struggles, you were born with a silver spoon and you got the man of your dreams on a silver platter "

Zara huffs and looks at Archit before speaking "my dad says he'd kill me in cold blood if I bring disgrace to his name ever . Untill now , my brother took all my decisions and I had no fucking freedom. Yes I got the man of my dreams who loves me but that was my destiny, I found my life . What are you doing ? You are just alive to imitate a perfect looking life which is actually as fucked up as anyone's "

"You are lying "

"I'm not lying . Do you even realize you destroyed their life? " She points towards me " what did that girl ever do to you ? She was bullied for being caring , she spent nights crying alone but when she met him,her destiny . You ruined it all . "

"Karma is a bitch , ever heard of it ?" Shruti walks inside followed by Shivay .

She clicks a few buttons on her tab and plays a video of this girl from the shower . She looks at it with wide eyes . I shift my gaze away when she gets up startled "how--- h-how did you get those "

"See my man here owns the University so it wasn't that difficult for him to find out who installed those cameras and after a little more investigation, he came to know that someone was doing the same to you . Your videos have already been posted to the community by someone in the morning . "

Shivay seems surprised for a moment but then he places a hand on Shruti's shoulder.

"I can take them down from the DEU community if she wants " shivay declares and shruti crosses her arms in the front .

"I'm sorry " the girl voices with tears in her eyes.

"Sorry ?? Do you even know what she has been through ?" I step forward and she covers her face while Zara hugs her .

"Zain " shivay strolls near me "you go we'll be there after we're done with this , Inayat has gone back home "
" I made it all worse for her " I wipe my face with a palm while Zara comes in front of me "I'll come with you"

"I'll book tickets for everyone and you make sure she deletes all videos" Archit walks out with Shivay

"Nobody was there when she needed us the most " shruti speaks with distress as I storm out of the room
