Ivy stood at her locker with Kim, Jerry and Eddie talking to them when the heard Milton calling out to them.

"Guys! Guys!" Milton ran down the stairs as the group turned to look at him. "Wanna know who just won the district-wide spelling bee?"

The group continued to look at him, waiting for him to say more.

"Here's a clue, M-E," Milton spelt out, getting Ivy to smile at him proudly.

"Meh?" Jerry said, causing his friends to send him weird looks.

"It's me, you toad," Milton glared as Eddie pointed to a small figure in Milton's hand.

"What's that?"

"The trophy I won," Milton held it up for his friends to see. "It's a bronze bee."

"Wow," Ivy nodded her head.

"I've got filling bigger than that thing," Kim said looking at it, earning herself to get elbowed in the side by Ivy.

"I rode a little filly named 'perspicacious' all the way to the finish line," Milton bragged while pretending to gallop on a horse.

Ivy grabbed Milton's shoulder, stopping him from continuing. "Stop, stop."

"Come on, who's the man?" he asked, looking at friends proudly. "Who's the man?"

"Jack is the man!"

The group turned to see their principal walking down the hallway with a trophy in his hands and Jack by his side. The hallway full of students started to chant his name and crowd around Jack as Milton and Ivy stayed towards the back of the crowd.

"Now thanks to Jack's routine, we've won our first gymnastics trophy in 15 years!"

The crowd clapped for Jack as Ivy looked over to a saddened Milton. She couldn't help but feel bad for him. She knew how he felt, she lived in the shadows of other's her whole life. She couldn't help but feel sad for him.

"It wasn't really a routine," Jack shrugged. "I was just trying to move fast enough so no one noticed that I was wearing a unitard."

Just when he finished his sentence two boys from the gymnastics team in unitards passed by giving him the thumbs up, which he slowly returned.

"When you're wearing one of those things, even when you win, you lose," Jack informed his friends.

Milton stepped up to the principle, holding up his spelling bee trophy. "You know, I just won the first spelling bee our school has ever-"

"Hey, show us what you did to win, Jack!" Eddie cut off Milton, unaware of Ivy's glare burning in the back of his skull as she she patted Milton's shoulder trying to comfort him.

The crowd cheered and spread out, giving Jack enough room to do a cartwheel into a backflip.

"Jack, I hope that this means you're going to stay on the gymnastics team," the principle smiled, walking over to Jack as the cheers died down.
