Sometimes, people came to visit the flower field. They would come to spend quality time with their families or friends. Some people also came alone to keep their heads off their weekly lives and to deconnect from the world while others would simply come because the area was quite popular and they wanted to check it out.

Because they were in a field where people came to pick flowers, the lonely flower witnessed the others going one by one. Lots of flowers kept going except her. Guess, the trend was about the red marigolds.

The visitors didn't even spare a glance at her and when they did it was only to compare the other flowers with her and praise them.

They belittled her, and she heard them.

She heard it all.

That's why she would prefer the days the field wasn't visited. She was already not apreciated by the other flowers and she didn't want to get hurt anymore.

She was so heartbroken about it but kept hoping inside that one day someone would come for her. She held onto that little string of hope and waited patiently for her time.

She trusted that someone would come for her and her only. She trusted someone would save her and make her dreams come true.
