YOU felt the hair on the back of your neck stand up as your grip on Sanemi tightened. Your face paled in anxiety as your heart began to race.
'Oh FUCK-' You thought, praying it was just your imagination. You looked at Sanemi to see a vein popping from his arm. Fuck, he was mad.
You jumped off his back, his grip on you loosening as he got into a defensive position. "So-" You started, your blood pressure rising at the thought of Akaza appearing right now. You guys just saw each other a couple of days ago! Why so soon?!?
Sanemi shielded you behind him as he spoke. "You really are a fucking demon magnet." He spoke out, anger and venom dripping out of each word. You shuddered at the sound of his voice as you admitted he was right.
"Please go away.." You muttered in english, hoping Akaza would hear you as Sanemi turned to you suspiciously. " What the fuck did you just say?" He viciously questioned you, his hand still on the hilt of your sword.
You tried your best not to look or sound suspicious, your mind forming excuse as fast as it could. 'C'mon [Y/N]!' Your mouth automatically opened as a hand reached to scratch the back of your head. "I was just praying for us!" You shrugged as Sanemi merely sighed. "Sure." He had already had enough of your bullshit, as his hand went off his hilt.
"I felt that presence— but it's gone now. Let's just keep going." He spoke, surprisingly calm as you felt he would start screaming bloody murder. You nodded as you climbed up on his back, his hands making his way to your thighs as he adjusted you.
