Brunch

Aluna POV

I woke up once more to the sun beaming on my face,
I looked at my phone seeing it was already 6:00am
I totally forgot to set my alarm last night,
After dinner last night I spoke to Ryan's mother getting info on his food preferences what he likes and dislikes and if he has any food allergies.
I would off asked him myself but I chose not to,
I do not think we aren't ready to have a civil conversation with each other.
I looked out my window spotting him running in the distance, if I didn't have to prepare breakfast I wouldn't mind having a run myself.
I took a shower got dressed and headed down stairs to start his breakfast.
I decided on making avocado toast and some fresh orange juice.
By 6:45 breakfast was served,
I placed it on the table leaving a note asking him what he wants for lunch before heading back up to my room.

Ryan's POV

"Good job."
Joe said as I finished my run heading back into the house, I looked at my phone seeing it was 7:00am
I wonder if my crazy ass chef finished preparing my breakfast.
I hope she's in a better mood today.
We walk into the kitchen and to my surprise breakfast was already done and on the table,
But no Aluna.
I sat removing the cover over the plate revealing two very delicious looking slices off avocado toast.
My eyes literally rolled to the back off my head as I took a bite,
this is probably the best avocado toast have ever had in my life.
Luna probably has a feisty attitude but boy she made it up with her cooking.

"It's good isn't it."
Joe asked looking at me as I devour my plate.

After finishing my meal I noticed a note under the plate,
I was a letter from Luna asking what I wanted for lunch.
I was a bit confused because during camp non off my chef asked me what I wanted to eat, they just cooked according to their diet schedule.
I decided to play with her a little a write something i know I could not have.

Luna POV

I got changed grabbing my keys heading down stairs,
I have a few hours off free time before I head to Ryan's place to prepare lunch.
I messaged my friends Sadie and Luke asking them if they wanted to have brunch and of course they excepted. Sadie and Luke were my friends from school,
Luke is also a boxer he used to train at our gym,
we actually used to date, he was the guy I lost my virginity to.
So meeting him is going to be a bit interesting.
I walked into kitchen looking at the notes seeing if Ryan wrote what he wanted for lunch.
And not to my surprise he wrote a hamburger and coke.
I rolled my eyes taking a deep breath,
its like he intentionally like to piss me off.

"So what brought you back to California?"
Luke asked looking at me smiling.

"I'm the chef for boxer Joe's training."
I said taking a sip off my ice coffee.

"No fucking way, you're Ryan's Garcia private chef."
Sadie shouted startling me.

"Yeah what's so exciting about that."
I said looking at her.

"Are you fucking kidding me, he's hot and he's an amazing boxer."
She said smiling.

"I don't think he's all that, he's overrated."
Luke said looking a little upset.

"Luke just hates Ryan because Ryan whooped his ass many times in sparing."
Sadie said teasing Luke.

"I'm actually sparing him tonight at the gym you should stop by,"
"be my lucky charm like the old days."
Luke said smiling.

"Sure why not."
I said looking at my phone.

"Shit I'm going to be late, I have to get going."
I said getting up hugging Sadie and Luke.

"Are you going to work looking like that."
Sadie said pointing to my outfit.

"Shit I was going to stop home and get changed but I don't think I can, it will make me late."
I said groaning.

"You could borrow my jacket."
Luke said giving me his jacket.

"Thank you."
I said inspected the jacket it his name logo on it. 

"Your team Luke."
He said making me laugh.

"I'll return it to you tonight."
I said giving him a quick hug before heading to my car.
