This just in, a former trainee of JYP and now trainee for KQ, Hwang Soo-Jin, has been rumored to be joining the new boy group ATEEZ. The speculation has been given mixed signals from many people, saying that they are excited and quite confused as to why they'd put a female in a male-dominant group.
People all around the world are trusting KQ with this decision and others are trying to not make it happen. While people have seen her audition tape, and seen how talented she really is. Fans think she would make a great soloist or good leader for a girl group.
JYP himself has said that she fits in better with boy group concepts and gave Kim Gyu Uk, the owner of KQ Ent., the idea to put her in a boy group. So he decided to test this theory and is going to see how she works with the boys.
The leader of ATEEZ, Kim Hongjoong, has stated that she works well with the other boys and that her rapping skills are amazing. He also stated that she helps the choreographer whenever he's having trouble teaching the boys the moves.
Bang Chan, leader of the K-pop group Stray Kids, stated that he taught her basically everything she knows and is proud to see her debut. Lee Minho, also known as Lee Know, themain dancer of Stray Kids, said that even though he barely knew her at the time, that she was great at what she did and is also proud of her for getting to debut.
