"Waiting for Hope"

I wait for the day, when skies are bright,

When joy fills my soul and makes it light,

Like others, I'll laugh, full of glee,

And be filled with happiness, finally free.

Oh, how I long for that sweet morning,

When I can wake up without a warning,

And feel the warmth of the sun's embrace,

Bringing a smile to my tired face.

I miss that feeling, oh my tears,

But I know that hope dispels all fears,

So I'll keep waiting, with heart so true,

For that blessed day when dreams come true.

I have no choice but to wait and see,

For God alone knows what's best for me,

And I trust that in His time and way,

He'll bring the healing and joy I pray.

I want to laugh, with my heart sincere,

With no pretense, with no hidden fear,

But who will understand my pain and plight,

As I wait for the day to be filled with light.

The night in my dreams, I see so clear,

As I hold on to hope, with faith so dear,

And wait for the day, when luck is mine,

And all my sorrows will be left behind.

I know it's hard, this road I tread,

But I won't give up, or lose my head,

For I know that God will help me through,

And bring me to the day when dreams come true.

So let me wait, with patience and grace,

For the day when I'll see His loving face,

And be healed from this disease that's taking its toll,

And have a new life, that's truly whole.

Dear readers,

I wrote this poem from the depths of my heart, in memory of my beloved Farangiz who left this world too soon. She was my everything, my light, and my joy. Though she is no longer with me, her memory will always live on through these words.

But when she died I lost everything. She died of severe pain. That's why I wrote these words on behalf of Farangiz.
