John William Milam also known as JW Milam was born on February 18, 1919.
JW Milam had operated his own store in Glendora , Tallahatchie county. However, it burned down the year before.
If you don't know who JW Milam
Is, he is the killer responsible for the kidnapping and brutal lynching of
Emmett Till.
Before JW Milam and Roy Bryant came back to Mississippi, that night after the incident with Carolyn Bryant , when Emmett Till had the encounter with her , it was said by Media , that Juanita Milam was in the back of the store babysitting the children.
But, as told by Juanita Milam herself , she was never there at all.
