(4 days later)
Heeseung's POV:
Ever since Yahyun got arrested on Monday, he has been a hot topic at school. I was at my locker putting my stuff away and I've already heard Yahyun's name a few times already this morning.
"Heeseung!" I heard a familiar voice call out
I turned around and it was Y/n, she was walking towards me with Aki. I smiled and waved at both of them.
"It's almost Friday, I want it to be the weekend already." Aki frowned
"Same." Y/n sighed
I laughed at them sulking but then saw someone in the background. I stopped laughing and frowned a bit when I recognized who it was. They both realized that I was staring off into the distance so they turned around to see what I was looking at.
"Is that... Yahyun?" Aki whispered
"Huh? Why is he here?" Y/n asked
I never thought I'd ever see his face again after what happened. I guess my plan didn't work out...
Yahyun spotted us and started walking towards us. I realized that he wasn't wearing his usual student council uniform. In fact, he wasn't wearing a school uniform at all, he was just wearing his normal clothes.
"Hey..." Yahyun greeted us awkwardly
"What happened? Why are you here again?" Aki interrogated him
"Well, after they arrested me on Monday, they questioned me and they couldn't find anything suspicious besides the cyanide in my bag. It's not illegal to have cyanide, so they couldn't arrest me just for that alone." he explained to us
"Then where were you these past few days?" I asked
"I was taking some time off, knowing everyone at school wouldn't want to see me after that. Even now, I know there a lot of rumors about me going around still." he said, "But during my time off, I got emails from the school. I first got kicked out of the student council, then yesterday they decided to transfer me to a public school."
"Is that why you're here?" Y/n looked at him
He nodded, "Yeah, I'm getting all of my things here before I transfer."
There was awkward silence before Yahyun broke it again.
"The staff told me to come here and grab all of my things quickly, I don't want them to catch me talking to anybody." he sighed
We all nodded and we waved at him before he went down the hallway and disappeared around the corner. In my head, I'm glad my plan actually worked out. It didn't necessarily work out in the way I wanted it to be, but it works.
"I'm still so confused on why he had that in his bag though." Y/n mumbled
"I'm confused too, but I guess we'll never know." I replied, "Let's not think about it too much, we won't find the real answer anyways."
"Heeseung's right." Aki agreed, "We won't find a real answer anyways, we're just gonna waste time."
"Let's go to the plaza, class doesn't start until another 15 minutes." I smiled
"Race you there!" Aki nudged Y/n before running off
"Yah! I wasn't ready!" Y/n ran after her
"You guys are 17 but act 7." I laughed at their childishness
