Chapter 12: Ihaw-ihaw

Sage's POV

"Truth." Solo uttered as he grabbed both of my shoulders and looked into my eyes directly.

Whatever the outcome maybe, I must face it.

However, my mind is being torn into two.

Whether if he answers that I'm just his younger brother then everything will be the same.

But the fact that I'm catching feelings for him already is a different story.

But if he answers that I'm more than just his friend, what shall I do?

How will I react?

Should I be happy?

Concerned?

Frustrated?

"Sage..." Solo uttered once more where I can smell the scent of the alcohol from his warm breath.

He was about to speak when suddenly, he leaned his head towards my shoulder and f*cking snored!

"Solo! Wake up! I'm asking you something important that's between life and death!" I exclaimed while tapping his head gently.

"Hehe..." Solo, then, chuckled, "Gusto mo talaga malaman kung ano ka sa paningin ko, Sage?"

"Yes."

"Tugtog ka muna ng La Vie en Rose sa piano mo tapos kakantahan kita. Haha..." Solo said and returned to his drunk state!

"Solo! I'm not messing with you!" I said and he made his body more heavy by leaning towards me more as if he was hugging me, "You are too heavy!" I shouted and pushed him to my bed.

"Lambot ng kama. Pwede na ko dito matulog. Hehe." Solo said and grabbed a pillow then placed it under his head.

As he closed his eyes, I tried to wake him up again.

I needed the answer.

I want to sleep peacefully!

"Solo! Don't fall asleep yet! Answer my question!" I exclaimed.

"Halika dito, tabi tayo, Sage. Hehe! Kasya tayo sa kama mo. Mas malaki kama mo kaya hindi tayo mahihirapan matulog." Solo said.

"Solo! Please! Just answer my question!" I added.

"Tugtog ka muna ng La Vie en Rose. Tapos kakanta ako..." Solo said and he paused for a moment.

"Tsk!" I uttered.

"🎵Hold me close and hold me fast, the magic spell you cast this is La Vie en Rose... 🎵" Solo uttered as he started singing.

Then, my eyes opened up widely when I heard his voice and it was so good to be honest.

I didn't know that Solo can also sing this good even when he is drunk.

So, I waited for him to sing another line but he giggled.

"But di ka sumasabay, Sage? Kumanta ka! Sabay Sabay!" Solo shouted as if he was a singer in a concert and trying to point an imaginary mic onto my face.
