As April strummed the first notes of her song, the crowd erupted in cheers. She closed her eyes and let the music take over, her fingers gliding effortlessly over the strings of her guitar.

Tom watched from the sidelines, his eyes fixed on her every move. He couldn't help but be mesmerized by her presence on stage. She was so confident, so talented. He had always known she had a special something about her, but seeing her perform like this was something else entirely.

As the song came to a close, the audience roared with applause. April grinned and bowed, feeling the rush of excitement that only comes from performing in front of a live audience.

Backstage, the band was in high spirits. They had just played a killer show and were ready to celebrate. Tom, however, was preoccupied with something else. He couldn't shake the feeling that he had just witnessed something truly special.

As the night wore on, the party started to die down. April was tired and ready to head back to her hotel room, but as she made her way towards the exit, she noticed Tom with another girl by his side.

The girl glared at April with obvious disdain, and April tried to ignore it. She knew better than to get involved in Tom's love life, especially when it seemed like he had a new girl every night.

But as she walked away, she couldn't help but feel Tom's eyes on her. She didn't know what it meant, but she couldn't deny that there was something between them.

The next day, as they prepared for another show, April tried to push those thoughts aside. She focused on the music, on performing her best, and on spending time with her bandmates.

But no matter how hard she tried to ignore it, she couldn't shake the feeling that something was different between her and Tom. They had shared a moment on stage the night before, and she couldn't help but wonder what it meant.

As they took the stage once again, April put everything she had into her performance. She sang with more passion than ever before, and when she looked out into the crowd, she could see Tom's eyes fixed on her.

After the show, they all headed back to their hotel. Tom was still with the same girl, but he seemed more distant than ever before. April couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy, even though she knew it was irrational.

As they said their goodnights and headed off to their separate rooms, April tried to push the thoughts of Tom out of her mind. She couldn't afford to get distracted by him, not when they had a tour to finish.

But as she lay in bed that night, she couldn't help but wonder what the hell was she feeling.

As April sat in her room, she couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. On one hand, she was ecstatic about how well the concert went and how the crowd seemed to love her singing. But on the other hand, she couldn't shake off the feeling of confusion she had towards Tom.

She glanced down at the jacket he had given her earlier, feeling the warmth and comfort it provided. As she gazed at it, she started humming a tune that came to her mind, and put on the jacket, soon enough she was strumming her guitar and jotting down lyrics

"I still keep your sweater at the back of my drawer
I put it on when my heart needs moral support
Missing you is hard but I hope missing me's harder
Does the distance make us fonder?"
