As the days turned into weeks, April's happiness seemed to radiate in her every step. The bond between April and Valerie had grown even stronger, and their time together had become an inseparable part of their lives. They laughed, shared stories, and created unforgettable memories within the walls of April's New York apartment.

One evening, as they were lounging on the couch, sipping their favorite drinks, April turned to Valerie with a smile. "You know, Val, I've been thinking. You've brought so much joy into my life since you've been here. Would you consider staying a while longer?"

Valerie's eyes lit up with genuine happiness. "April, you have no idea how much I love being here with you. I feel like we're building something truly special. Of course, I'll stay longer. Let's make more incredible memories together."

April embraced Valerie tightly, grateful for the bond they shared. With Valerie by her side, the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) held a newfound excitement. April's talent had earned her a nomination, and Valerie, as her best friend and biggest supporter, would accompany her as her plus one.

The day of the VMAs arrived, and the energy in the air was electric. April stepped onto the red carpet in a stunning gown, her confidence shining through. Flashbulbs popped as photographers captured her elegance and poise. And by her side, Valerie exuded an aura of grace, her presence elevating April's radiance.

As they made their way into the venue, the buzz of excitement intensified. April mingled with fellow artists and industry insiders, enjoying the camaraderie and celebrating the achievements of her peers. Valerie stood beside her, beaming with pride and admiration. They suddenly ran into Tokio Hotel, who were also attending the show.

Valerie was thrilled to see Gustav and Bill again, giving them both a big hug. She also exchanged pleasantries with Georg, but when Tom introduced himself and said hello, she couldn't help but feel a little uneasy. She had heard about the drama between him, April, and Heidi, and wasn't sure how to feel about him.

April noticed Valerie's discomfort and tried to ease the tension by introducing herself to Tom and making small talk. Tom seemed friendly enough, but Valerie remained cautious around him throughout the night.

As the show went on, April was thrilled to be nominated for an award, and even more thrilled when she won. Valerie cheered her on from the sidelines, feeling proud of her best friend's accomplishments.

As April stood on the stage, holding her VMA award in her hands, she felt a rush of emotions. The crowd cheered for her, and she could see the excitement and pride in their eyes. But what touched her the most was the sight of her best friend, Valerie, who was standing in the audience, tears streaming down her face.

April took a moment to compose herself, feeling overwhelmed by the love and support surrounding her. She cleared her throat and began her acceptance speech, her voice filled with gratitude and sincerity.

"Wow, thank you all so much," April said, her voice trembling with emotion. "This means the world to me. I want to thank every single person who has believed in me, supported me, and helped me on this incredible journey."

As April spoke, she couldn't help but glance over at Valerie, who was wiping away tears with a beaming smile on her face. Their eyes locked for a moment, and April could see the sheer joy and pride radiating from her friend.

"And to my best friend, Valerie, who should stop crying because I'm going to cry too" April continued, her voice filled with affection. "Thank you for always being there for me, for believing in me even when I doubted myself. Your unwavering support and love have meant everything to me."
