April groaned as she slowly opened her eyes, the moonlight filtering through the curtains, they realized they slept throughout the entire day. She turned to her side, only to find Valerie curled up beside her, equally disheveled from the night before. The two friends exchanged groggy smiles and shared a knowing look, understanding the consequences of their wild night.

April yawned and stretched, propping herself up on the pillows. "Ugh, my head feels like it's going to split open," she groaned.

Valerie nodded in agreement, rubbing her temples. "Tell me about it. I can't believe we went that hard last night. We're getting too old for this."

April chuckled. "Speak for yourself, old lady. We're just having a good time. No regrets, right?"

Valerie smiled, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Absolutely no regrets. We're young, wild, and free, remember?"

They shared a laugh, the shared experiences of their friendship binding them even closer. As they looked at each other, their faces still flushed from the night's adventures, a wave of gratitude washed over them.

"You know," April began, her voice softening, "I'm so glad you're here with me, Valerie. You're not just my best friend, you're my partner in crime. I can't imagine going through life without you by my side."

Valerie's eyes welled up with tears, a mix of emotions bubbling within her. "April, you have no idea how much you mean to me. You've been there through thick and thin, and I'm grateful every single day for our friendship."

They leaned in, embracing each other tightly, their bond stronger than ever. In that moment, the weight of the world felt lighter, and they knew that no matter what life threw at them, they would always have each other.

As they finally untangled themselves from the hug, April grinned mischievously. "Alright, enough sappy stuff. Let's get up and conquer the night. I'm thinking Chinese and a marathon of our favorite TV show. What do you say?"

Valerie's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Yes! Chinese and TV sounds like the perfect cure for our hangover. And maybe alka-seltzer, just to ease the pain a bit."

Dragging themselves out of bed, April and Valerie stumbled into the bathroom for a much-needed shower. The hot water cascading down their bodies helped alleviate some of the remnants of their hangover. As they dried off and changed into fresh clothes, they couldn't help but chuckle at the memories of their antics.

Once back in bed, the scent of greasy takeout food filled the air as April and Valerie indulged in their favorite guilty pleasures. They devoured their meals with enthusiasm, savoring the delicious flavors that brought some comfort to their weary bodies.

As they lounged in bed, their phones buzzed with notifications. Curious, April reached over and picked up her phone, finding a series of missed calls and messages from Bill, Gustav, and Tom. The boys had video-called her, and April couldn't help but wonder what they were up to.

With a mix of curiosity and hesitation, April tapped on the video call button and was instantly greeted by the faces of Bill, Gustav, and Tom. They were surrounded by the pulsating lights and booming music of a club.
