Taehyung wakes in the morning to panicked yelling and the sounds of someone knocking into things as they rush around his apartment.
Groaning, he rolls over on his uncomfortable, cheap couch so that he's facing the ceiling, and carefully blinks open his eyes.
His head pounds.
"Jennie," Tae says, voice hoarse enough that he winces at the sound of it. "Why are you tearing down my apartment?"
She lets out a strangled cry for an answer and when he finally sits up to get a good look at her, he catches a glimpse of the woman throwing her hands up in the air in defeat, a tote bag slung over her shoulders and her dark hair a frazzled mess.
In short, she looks beautiful.
"Class!" She says, and then shouts out another couple of words like she can't be bothered to form complete sentences. "8 am! Gotta go! Now!"
His brows furrow. "How are you even gonna get there?"
She makes another frustrated, panicked noise and the next thing he knows, she's gone, the front door to his flat rattling from the force of how she closed it. He jumps to his feet, suddenly very awake, and rushes to a nearby window.
Peering out of it, Tae only has to wait a few seconds before he sees Jennie's figure sprinting down the streets of Seoul, waving down a taxi with a hairbrush in her hand and an apple (stolen from Taehyung's kitchen, evidently) held between her teeth, forcefully pushing through crowds of people as a few take out their phones to record the reckless state of the rising pop star.
He bursts out laughing, and then nearly falls into the glass of the window.
