Harbingers of death

-Central City, Sullust-

The wreck of a gozanti class ship was entering the planet's atmosphere and landed into the polluted waters of a sea near Central City, capital of Sullust. This sea was artificial, made of the industrial wastes from the city that was brought out and it provided cover for the 4 death troopers who were hiding in the wreck. ''Your mission is to secure and capture the new railway gun that is being constructed here by Rothana Heavy Engineering.'' a lieutenant on the Morning-Star said to the death troopers.

''I thought Rothana was working for the empire.'' the death trooper put in charge of the mission spoke to the lieutenant after turning off his voice scrambler.

''They are but the one who is in charge of the construction has been leaking intel to the insurgents. That's why they called in Saw Gerrera and his partisans.'' the lieutenant replied. ''That weapon is part of the emperor's new 'war mantle project' among others. General Salazar has personally funded the project and sent equipment for it's construction. It's imperative that the railway gun does not fall into rebel hands. That is why you are on this mission. As General Salazar attacks the main insurgent force, they'll be too busy with him and you can get inside Central City and secure it.''

''Copy that. Ready for separation.'' the death trooper said and the refurbished droch class boarding ship of the CIS started to swim upwards to the city.

''We got aqua droids up ahead. Can't believe they still recycle these tin cans.'' a second death trooper said, the words being scrambled but understandable to his comrades. ''Eliminating them now.'' the death trooper said and manned the blasters which destroyed the 4 aqua droids as if they were nothing. ''Obstacles have been eliminated.''

''Good luck death troopers.'' the lieutenant said over on the comms.

''Are we authorized to kill any and all dissidents?'' the death trooper leader asked.

''Affirmative. The native Sullustans have been unwelcoming of the occupying insurgents. Doesn't help that some of them were their old employers whom they hated. They have taken arms and a section of the city has been taken back by the Sullsutans. With so much fighting in the past few days, no one will notice a little extra blaster fire.'' the lieutenant replied.

''Understood. Beginning deployment sequence.'' the death trooper said and the droch ship opened. The 4 death troopers came out and were swimming up to the port.

''We have reports indicating that a rogue storm trooper batallion may be active in this area. Been 9 years since they were replaced but they never did know when to quit.'' the lieutenant informed the death trooper team.

The death troopers saw deformed fish coming like a swarm. One of them chuckled and threw a plasma grenade which stunned the carnivorous fish school. They then used their grappling hooks to climb up and the death trooper leader snapped the neck of a patrolling insurgent guard. ''Failure is not an option on this mission. Lock and load.'' the lieutenant said and the death troopers prepared to fight. A death trooper saw an insurgent guard just up the watch tower then shot him dead. They climbed up the storage containers and saw 3 guards, 2 of them near a fire and the 3rd up there being a sniper. The death trooper leader shot the insurgent sniper, whose corpse fell down on the fire. Before the other two could react, the other death troopers shot them to death. Then they came down and hacked their data pads, sending info back to the Morning-Star.

''Continue moving forward for now. There is a rail station just up ahead. You can use it to get inside the main facility.'' the lieutenant told the death troopers.

The death troopers continued moving forward and then shot the coming insurgent soldiers. They then rigged the corridor with detonators and when more insurgents came, they blew them all up. They continued moving forward and slaughtered 5 more insurgents and then they were out of the port and inside Central City. The death trooper leader turned on his invisibility cloak and snuck inside a room where there were 4 insurgents. He shot them all dead without warning and chased the one who was above his position. He used the grappling hook to pin the insurgent soldier down and then shot him. He then shot a sniper dead and they continued moving forward.
