Imagine this: a friend invites you to the pool, you can't wait to wear your new swimsuit, but there's one problem: the monthly curse is upon you (@Peep679)

Now I know what you're thinking yada yada yada TAMPONS. Well, not everyone wears tampons within their first year of bleeding. Every girl starts wearing tampons at different times. I mean it took me a couple years before I even dared put one of those bad boys in me. In fact, there are women who really don't use tampons at all and prefer to use pads. 

All of a sudden you have no idea what to do. It's like everything is wrong. The moon orbits Mars, Canada isn't a country, someone left one direct-

oh wait-- that last one is true :_(

You don't wanna say no to your friend because hello pool, but you don't wanna go into the water, and what's the fun in staying outside?

(for the record though, just tell your friend you feel a bit sick it's not that big of a deal)

Or imagine this: Family vacation 101 baby! Tropical island life, beaches, ocean--

aw nuts.

I mean you could just lay on the beach, but it's the ocean! The feeling of salt sucking the water out of your skin, the sun eating your skin (WEAR SUNSCREEN Y'ALL), there's no other feeling like it!

One time, my family went to the beach, and literally everyone knew my sister was on her period xD We planned all of our water activities around her cycle. Poor sis, love you! Really hope you're not reading this

Or or or imagine this: THEME PARKS. oh yes, water rides and roller coasters galore. Of course, the roller coasters are fine, but the water rides ay ay ay.

Again, you could be with family, friends, or a school trip.

If you don't wanna go on water rides that's fine, but try explaining that to your friend whom you promised you would go with xD
