Wally groaned as he groggily took off his eye mask, he took a look at the time beside him and saw it was 6:23 am.
*KNOCK!KNOCK!KNOCK!*
"OH! FOR heaven sake..!" He muttered. groggily getting off his bed.
Julie 'patiently' excitedly waited on the front door, she was excitedly telling something (gossip :> ) with you and wally.
The door opens revealing a tired looking wally with his blue furry robe, he looks at julie with a tired look while rubbing his eye " what could be so important to wake me up at 6 in the morning…?" Groggily said, leaning against the door frame "Hiya Wally! Sorry about that hehe, it's just that howdy acts strange, he has been clumsy lately and he would seemingly gaze at the window like he was in love or something.." wally took an interest as he continued to listen.
"and sooo~ I was wondering if you and y/n want to spy on him~and see why he act like that." She mischievous said making a grinch face, wally snickered.
"Hmmmmm~"
[Near at howdy's place]
"Uhhh...why are we spying at a howdy shop?" You said, the three of you were hiding in the bush.
Julie held her finger "shhhhhh.. we're gonna get caught if u speak to loud y/n."
Y/n made a face as the two kept looking at howdy. "DUCK, his coming!" She said pulling you to the ground along with wally.
Howdy got out of his store carrying a stack of apples as he began to put it on the empty one, once the tray was full he went in to grab another supply.
"Soo uh what's strange about howdy again?"
"Do you remember yesterday he brought a bouquet of flowers and an Apple's?" Wally asks, leaning a bit close to you.
"Yeah? What about it?" You ask, raising an eyebrow.
"Well my dear we hadn't seen howdy act like this, ever."
"Everrrr…..~"Julie dramatically moved her hand. This caught your interest, is howdy meeting someone?
"Fine, I'm in." Julie cheered as the three of you looked back at the store.
Howdy came back with a stack of bananas, as he begin to put it in the empty box, soon you saw barnaby walking towards to howdy, as barnaby pat his back "good mornin there!" Barnaby greets, making howdy almost drop his item "b-barnaby haha h-hi there!"
"Sorry bout that, do you have a spare wheel?"
Barnaby asks, rubbing his head.
"Yeah I do have in my bodega, I'll get that." Howdy said smiling as he went in and Barnaby followed as well. This allows the three of you to sneak in without them noticing.
"So, are you meeting someone~" Barnaby asked, wiggling his eyebrow at howdy who almost dropped the wheels, he nervously chuckled "hehe no..why do you ask?"
" Well I notice the way you dress, and a strong scent of perfume like geez." He chuckled.
"So he is meeting someone!" Julie almost shouts as you and wally quickly cover her mouth.
"What's that?" Barnaby asks as his ear perks up "Hmmm…"
Howdy looked at him with a confused face.
"What's what?"
"I thought I heard something...maybe I just ate too many hotdogs.."
How laugh as he gave the wheels to Barnaby "you have to lay off the hotdogs there buddy." Barnaby laughs, patting his stomach. "What can I say? It's just too delicious to resist." He said, waving and saying his goodbye before leaving.
