"Get this done by the end of today." Khushi's excitement faded into irritation.
A month after joining AR and Khushi was finally done with the first look for the designs.
And how had ASR reacted? By throwing more work in her face?
"What exactly should I get done by the end of the day?"
"The designs need to be approved by every single senior designer in AR."
Khushi's jaw fell open. "Every single designer. The ones who have their offices as far away from each other as possible."
ASR smirked.
The senior designers, best in the country, couldn't stand each other. It had gotten to the point where the first time they were unified in a stance was to collectively walk out of AR unless their offices were relocated to the four corners of the building, far far away from each other.
Khushi wanted to be far far away from Arnav Singh Raizada right now.
With forced smile she gathered her designs. "Ab kya hi kar sakte hain hum, aapke yahan naukri karte hain. Aapki toh sunhi hi padegi." She gritted out with a sour look on her face. [What else can I do, I work for you. I have to listen to ya.]
Arnav smirked victoriously. "That's right."
With a forced smile she grabbed the papers and walked out of his office. "Bhaag Khushi bhaag."
Two hours later...
"Done, sir."
Arnav's victorious smirk slipped in front of Khushi's accomplished one.
"All of them signed?"
"Yes sir. Dekhiye, saare chaar signatures." Khushi gloated, raising an eyebrow in victory. [See, all four signatures.]
"Yeh kaise kiya tumne?" Getting all four signatures was near impossible unless ASR himself asked them to sign. [How did you do this?]
Wonderful designers had a burning passion for art. But it unfortunately also came with a fierce need to be unique and stand out.
Ever since they signed a contract with AR, they haven't signed off a single design together, one always picking faults with the other three had approved them.
"Hamne bataya hi nahi ki baaki theen designer ne sign kiya hai. Aur kaha ki yeh aapke chune gaye designs hain. Bas ASR ka naam liya aur kaam khatam." [I didn't tell them that the other three designers had approved and signed. And told them that these designs were selected by you. Just name dropped ASR and the work was done in a jiffy.]
If Khushi had a collar, she would have raised it. The girl was all smiles, beaming with pride.
