Aftermath

Hunter assists me to the main part of the ship with my leg still injured from that fire fight, we are greeted with the disapproving Look on Echos face, Tech still in the cockpit on his data pad trying to find somewhere for us to go and Omega with Wrecker trying to distract her from what we were just doing. Hunter and I just look at each other with a knowing expression on our faces, I couldn't help but laugh at the situation at hand.

Before we could say anything the lights on the Havocc start to flicker "Echo you were suppose to fix the lights!" Hunter exclaims "Yeah well add it to the list!" Echo replies as he starts to go into the ship diagnostics. Hunter helps me over to the seating area in the corner to let my leg rest, I couldn't help the yawn that parted from my lips, Hunter kneels down in in front of me and cups my cheek in his hand "Get some rest we wil-" we feel the ship jolt out of hyperspace casing all of us to tumble, I accidently land on Hunter before I was able to grab anything to keep my self seated. "Tech what's going on?" Hunter yells "Nothing that's concerning we were pulled out of hyperspace is all" Tech states matter of fact. Hunter helps me back up into my seat keeping aware of my leg. "Tech getting pulled out of hyperspace is a big deal!" Hunter yells.

Hunter looks at me "Get some rest, I have a feeling we will need to stop for some repairs" He smiles softly at me before he kisses me and leaves to go talk to Tech. I wasn't going to miss a chance of getting sleep after everything that had happened lately, I sigh lightly as I try to get into a tolerable position to sleep.

It was a long quiet trip back to Coruscant, Five never left my side, we had both lost someone who means the world to us. I lost my best friend, Fives lost his twin. I was behind Fives when it happened, Echo thought he could save the shuttle from the canons that were shooting at them, Fives and I yelled out for Echo to not go but he was already in mid dash towards the shuttle. Everything happened so quickly after that, we were able to be rescued but we weren't okay, nothing about this was okay. Fives and I couldn't help but rely on each other after that mission.

I knew when I became friends with Echo and Fives that there was a possibility of them getting killed, they knew that with me as well though. Fives and I stayed close together once we were back on a The Cruisers, fives would be in my quarters most of the time after we lost echo, we were granted a leave so that way were could have time to heal and grieve, it was not secret how close we are were with each other.

The first night back I was able to go to my apartment I rented on the upper levels to have privacy, it was quiet, I wasn't use to this place being quiet after getting back from a mission. Normally I would have both Fives and Echo here celebrating our victory, but in this case it was a victory but at what cost. I couldn't help but fall to my knees in the living area and sob, i barely noticed that fives ha already came in shortly after till he wrapped his arms around me and started to cry himself, I had to embrace him as we sat on the floor together and broke down in each others arms, our heads leaning on the others shoulder.

After awhile we stopped crying but we just sat there in silence grieving, occasionally a sniffle or two would be heard form one of us. I let out a shaky sigh "Fives?" i whisper out my voice soft and horse from the sobbing, "Yeah?" He questions his voice also being affected by his own sobbing "Please don't leave me alone tonight" I whisper into his shoulder. I feel his arms tighten around me practically bringing me into his lap as he sat on the floor still "I was hoping you would ask... I didn't want to go back to the barracks and see his empty bunk" he says quietly as he is still resting his head in my shoulder.

I nod my head in agreement, "I cant say i blame you Fives" i say quietly as i hug him tightly. We both found comfort in each other that night, both of our hearts were heavy and shattered. Later on we had finally made our way off the ground and onto my couch just staring at a holo photo of all three of us, silence fills the air between us as we observe the photo together. It wasn't nothing fancy it was just a photo of Echo, Me in the middle and Fives on my other side. All three of us had smiles on our faces, we had just came back from a night of drinking at 79s, we were trying to get Echo to hook up with one of the girls there. He almost did but chickened out when he started to sober up, i couldn't help but smile at the memory.
