"Fuck you mean the flight is delayed?" I asked
"I'm sorry sir, the weather is only expected to get worst, there's nothing that we can do about it"
"When's the next available flight ?" I asked
"Everything might be shut down until tomorrow morning, it's already 6:00pm." She explained
"Mann fuck this." I mumbled before walking away from the desk
"Is there anything else that you can tell me that will give me more of an update ?" I heard a familiar voice say
"No ma'am, I'm sorry but all flights nah be delayed until tomorrow morning.
I looked over and furrowed my eyebrows once I noticed that it was Zae.
"Aye Zae?" I called causing for her to turn around
She looked at me in confusion before walking over.
"What are you doing here ?" She asked
"I told you I had a conference." I replied
"Wait... where's your conference?" she asked before crossing her arms
"Las Vegas." I replied and Zae laughed
"So i'm interviewing for you." she said before shaking her head
"You supposed to be in Vegas too?" I asked and she nodded
"Doesn't matter now." She mumbled before rubbing her head
"How bad you wanna go?" I asked causing for her to look up.
"I mean I just wanna get to the money, plus the traveling is always a plus, I haven't been to vegas in so long" She sighed
"Ight come on." I told her and she furrowed her eyebrows
"It's a three hour drive which isn't bad, you can drive us back" I said and she shook her head
" No offense, but now that I know what it is i'm good. I don't know if us working together would be the best idea and-"
"I wasn't asking " I interrupted before grabbing her suitcase and rolling it towards the exit.
Once I made it to the car I called Breanna and Dee to let them know what was up. They had caught a flight yesterday since theirs wasn't payed for so they were already down there.
After putting out bags in the car we both got in and I connected my phone before playing music and leaving the airport.
"You not cold ?" Zae asked with her arms crossed slightly shaking
"Nah." I replied causing for her to tilt her head at me
"Nova it's freezing, you're gonna drive three hours without heat in the middle of November ?" She asked
"You wasn't cold the other night when you went out with no clothes on hm?" I asked
"Yea no, let me out."She said before taking her seatbelt off
"Nigga we ain't even hit the interstate yet."
"I'm coldddd!" she dragged and I smacked my teeth before turning the heat on
"Happy ?" I mumbled
"Yes very."
"Tell me more about this conference?" Zae asked before slightly turning to look at me.
"Shiiit all I know is we're meeting with a couple of people to get a team together, I guess i'm the one that's interviewing, but the first conference is just s overall discussion about what's gon happen within the. ext couple of weeks and who my opponents are gonna be. Booking venues and all that shit." I explained and she nodded
