" Nice, Let's take five." Carmen said before wrapping it up and looking at her camera.
I walked over before looking over to look at them and she stepped closer to give me a better view.
"This one is cover worthy for sure." She smiled
before I could speak Bre walked in with Dee.
"Now that I have you two here... oh where's Zae?" She asked and I shrugged
"She said she was running late-"
interrupting my sentence the doors opened to Zae and she sighed before walking over
"Sorry i'm late, I had to deal with something."
"No worries, Carmen did half of the shoot i'm guessing, so now we can just talk business." Bre nodded and we took a seat at the table.
"So you have a big deal on your hands." Bee smiled
"What's that?"
"Theeeee gatorade wants you to to fly out to chicago and sponsor them with your very own ad." She smiled and I raised my eyebrows before everyone started clapping.
"That's so bigg, congratulations!" Carmen smiled before giving my shoulder a squeeze
"They are funding you and your team, but since you've recently made an addition there's only one ticket going towards photography.."Dee announced and I looked at Zae.
After a while she broke eye contact with me and I looked at Carmen.
"Just take Carmen."Zae mumbled
"Are you sure girl ?" Carmen asked
"Mhm, you'll love the experience." She replied before eyeing me and getting up.
Bre looked at me crazy before signaling to go after her.
I smacked my teeth before following her outside.
"Ayo what's yo issue ?" I asked
"You.. where have you been Nova?" She asked
"You said you wanted space."
"And that means ghost me for almost 3 weeks?" She asked
"What are you wanting Zae?" I asked before leaning back on the wall
She gave me a tired look causing for me to look down.
"I'm wanting for you to try... it's like, everything you promised and said to me is becoming bullshit and it's not fair because Ive been trying so hard to save what we have and it's like you don't even want it any more." She said as her eyes began watering up
"I got bigger shit to worry about than just this relationship Zae." I told her and she looked away before nodding
"So how about for now we just keep business as business and leave that personal shit out the way for now?" he asked
"As in you don't wanna be together anymore." She nodded before crossing her arms
we sat in silence for a while causing for me to sigh
"I'm so stupid I can't believe I-" She stopped before making eye contact with me.
She then shook her head before walking out the door.
I rubbed my head before turning around to see Dee.
He shook his head before waving me over.
"Let's finish these digitals."
