Although she didn't condone sacrifices, Galaxy couldn't help but laugh at K9's chosen victim. Apparently, her dog had a thing against stuffed unicorns, as the stuffie had been his idea of what constituted the perfect sacrifice.

At least there won't be any blood and gore, Galaxy thought.

She'd seen enough of that, and would much rather 'kill' a stuffed animal than a living, breathing person.

As she followed K9 through the graveyard though, she couldn't help but wince at the sight of the unicorn held tight in her nightmare dog's jaws. "Help me"! it's beady eyes seemed to say, "I don't wanna die!"

Galaxy shook her head, trying to clear the thought from her mind. "What exactly are we looking for, K9?"

Her dog adjusted the stuffed animal in his mouth before speaking, though what he said came out grumbled. "An empty grave plot. It's important that we perform the seance in a spot that's, er, not already occupied by someone-,"

Occupied, Galaxy thought with a laugh. What a weird way of saying someone whose dead.

"-and you'll have to be the one to scout out a plot for us."

"Well, can't you just - you know - use your nose to sniff one out for us?" If her dog could talk, she wouldn't put it past him having supernatural senses.

K9 shook his furry head. "I'm afraid not. This cemetery is the entry way to Galhoul Academy - a holy place. I'm able to speak here, but my other senses are hindered. I am only at my most powerful in Hell."

"Alright," Galaxy said, looking around in defeat.

When at last she spotted what looked like an empty spot just a few yards away from her, she smiled. "How about over there?"

K9 followed where she was pointing and bounded over to the empty plot, dumping Uni Unicorn into the hole where he'd soon meet his end.

"Perfect," K9 said, grinning wickedly. "We'll be able to summon Evely here."

Looking around her, Galaxy couldn't help but feel the shivers crawling up her spine again. It seemed strange that no ghost, gravestone, or angel of any kind was in this particular corner of the cemetery.

Then again, there wasn't any signage to indicate she couldn't perform her seance.

"Right," Galaxy said. "What exactly am I supposed to do?"

K9 placed one of his paws on the unicorns neck, holding it in place. "First is the sacrificing part. Did you bring the pointy carvey thing?"

Galaxy nodded, bringing out the sharp silver spade she'd found by the Steele Mausoleum.

Even though it was a stuffed animal whose not-real life she'd be taking, Galaxy's hands still shook as she cut clean across the belly, pulling the majestic innards free. The stuffing from inside spilled out, which she hastily covered with dirt, not wanting to see the de-stuffed carcass.
