I quite like it, because of the politic relations. But, I found out once that the people don't really like each other that much, so I only love it in a political way.
It also doesn't matters if it would be gay or not, because both countries and just people support the community. Of course it doesn't means that they automatically apart of it, no, of course no, but at least you'll know what people won't come up at you with the words "But ... is a homophobic country" which is a relief.
The ship counts as a lesbian one in my au, since I see them both as females.
I'm okay with it.
