"Fate" a Yatori Fanfic

You're You

The window was open.

Letting in the cool air that sent shivers down Hiyori's spine.

The room was clean.

Everything boxed up.

Everything was ready to leave for college,

Except Hiyori.

...

Hiyori woke up that morning.

She walked to the bathroom, brushed her teeth, brushed her hair, and got ready for the day ahead of her.

She made her way downstairs.

Her hand trembling at the rail,

For she won't feel this rail for a while.

«{ The Park Lake }»

Yato was sitting peacefully by the lake.

Taking his time to reflect on all of this.

"Haaa~" Yato exhaled.

He skipped rocks along the pond just for fun.

Yato pressed his head against his knees that were wrapped with his arms.

"If only there was just a little more time."

...

Hiyori wrapped her arms around her parents shoulders and gave a peaceful sigh.

"I'm gonna miss you guys."

With that Hiyori's mom gave her one last kiss on the forehead as a goodbye.

Hiyori stepped out the front door taking in a breath of air.

Suddenly her phone buzzed.

Checking it she smiled.

Yato

Yato> Meet me at the park lake near that collage of yours.

She quickly responded with an "ok."

Hiyori drove out to the lake near campus.

She exited the car and spotted Yato sitting on the park bench.

She strolled over to Yato and caught his attention with a simple,

"Hey."

Yato stood up, smiled, and offered his hand to her,

"Shall we take a walk?"

Hiyori agreed and took his hand.

They chatted alongside the lake making their way towards campus.

The scene was almost as if it came out of a shoujo manga.

Cherry blossom petals fell from the trees,

The clear sky was a beautiful hue of blue.

While Yato gazed into Hiyori's eyes he firmly grasped on Hiyori's Hands.

They where standing in front of the university's doors.

"Hiyori..." Yato breathed.

Hiyori stepped forward and gave Yato a hug.

Yato pressed his head in the crook of Hiyori's neck.

In a muffled tone Yato said,

"I love you.."

Hiyori unfolded their embrace and pecked his cheek.

"Thank you, for all of this...it really means a lot to me.
