the debate that was currently going on between the group was entirely ignored by chris and rena who were giggling about something on chris' phone. the pair were completely unaware of their surroundings and had been for a while but it wasn't as though anyone had noticed and even if they did, they wouldn't care seeing as it had almost become routine for the pair to do as such.

"he kind of looks like you," rena chuckled as she pointed at one of the various animations plastered across the phone screen that looked anything but like chris.

he scoffed loudly before pointing out another character and looking back and forth between it and rena, "that's literally you like if you showed me a picture of that, i'd think it's you."

"that's the fucking donkey from shrek?" she questioned which made chris break out into laughter, the sound booming around the room and instantly traveling to rena's mind for safekeeping, for his laugh was one of the most comforting melodies she had ever heard and she would always be sure to store the different mediums in her memory.

"and your point is? it looks like you," he repeated, earning a playful slap on the arm from his girlfriend before her head rested on his shoulder, her hair sprawling across his front delicately.

"i'm so tired," she yawned as she sleepily moved her hair from her eyes, missing the strands entirely which made her sigh frustratedly.

"that's what happens when you stay awake until 4am for no reason," he replied, moving his hand to replace rena's hair where she had been trying to place it mere seconds prior

"as if that wasn't your fault," she retorted, reminding him of their facetime call that he had insisted on continuing even when rena said it was getting late.
