so we get to the fancy ass dinner place,nessa made a reservation already.
it was way fancier than i thought it would be.
everyone orders and i just get the steak because i dont know what anything else on the menu means
"so do you guys have plans for tomorrow" nessa asks
"not really" nick shrugs
"well we can go to the beach" she suggests
okay?
"its not summer anymore" matt replies
exactly. i love the beach but the idea is not making any sense
"it'd be fun you guys" chris says
????? whys he taking her side ?????
"how? what if there are winds blowing tomorrow" i say
"BUT we should do something adventurous" nick speaks
"this could be peak adventure for us guys" nick continues
"yes thats what i am saying" chris says
"fine" matt says
chris looks at me with convincing eyes
"fineeeee" i say
"beach it is then" chris says
"ill invite some of my friends too if you guys dont mind" nessa asks
"sure" chris says
im sick of him.

**TIME SKIP~the other day**

we were all getting ready to go to the beach.
the problem is i didnt pack any bikinis for the trip.
i didnt think we'd go to the beach at all
"are you getting ready" nick asks getting out of the bathroom
"i didnt get any bikinis" i tell him
"you should ask nessa for one"
"do you think she'll lend me one?"
"yea ofcourse go ask"
"okay.."

i walk up to her room and knock
"come in"
it wasn't her who said that,it was chris.
i sigh and walk in
"whats up"  he asks
"oh i didnt get any bikinis with me i was hoping nessa could lend me one" i explain
"she's in the bathroom right now" he says
"come here sit with me" he calls me to sit beside him on the bed
i go and sit beside him
we scroll through tiktok for about 10 mins,when nessa walks out,drying her hair with a towel
"hey" i say
"hi?" i dont know why she sounded so confused
"well-" i start to speak when
"breya was wondering if you could lend her a bikini because she didnt pack any" chris says
"oh yeah sure why not" she says walking to her closet
after like 5 minutes she walks out with a black bikini in her hand
"here"
"thanks" i smile as i take it and walk out

it was a plain black bikini,i didnt mind it because at least she was kind enough to give me one
i get to our room and finally start getting ready

i wore the bikini inside a small dress ive been wanting to wear since a long time but never got the chance.
i get to the living room and check the time
2:47pm
matt comes out soon as chris follows him
"NICK" i yell to call him out
"COMIING"
nessa walks down soon enough,nick comes out too

"we'll leave,my friends are gonna meet us there"
we get to the car and sit like we do.
in about 20 minutes nessa parks and gets out
we all follow her
its not the worst weather for beach right now but later there could be winds.
i watch nessa taking chris' hand and making him sit down with her.
all i can do is sigh and watch from afar
she takes of her top and lays in her bikini
chris tells her something and walks away towards the water
i just watch him do dumb shit in the water
soon enough nessa's friends join in
"jaden,mads,bryce yall know the sturniolo triplets?" nessa introduces
they all nod and greet the triplets
"and this is their childhood friend,breya"
i greet them with a smile

for the most part i stay away from all of them.
i didn't bother to have fun even.
i am sad
i just wanna sit here alone with chris and talk like we do
it was anyway getting windier and cold after 5pm
i sit around the seashore and  close my eyes for a little
"you'll catch a cold"
i hear someone say behind me. i didnt look back because i know who it is
"i'll be fine" i say as chris sits next to me
"here" he takes of his hoodie and gives it to me
"i said i'll be fine." i state looking forward not batting an eye to him
i dont know why i just dont want to.
now that i know him and nessa have something going on i can't seem to look at him without my heart aching
"but i said you COULD catch a cold,here wear it" he hands it over again
i finally look at him
"okay" i say taking it and putting it over my dress
"we're gonna go get food" matt calls us over
we both walk to the group
"breya right? can i get your instagram?" jaden asks
me

"oh yea sure" i go towards him as he hands me his phone to type my user in
"you're pretty famous" jaden smiles
"yea we all know whos the famous one here" i say giggling
"lets get in the car guys we gotta get to the reservation" nessa speaks to the group
"oh breya you should come in our car,it has plenty of space" jaden suggests

Chris' Pov

"oh breya you should come in our car,it has plenty of space"

i see what he's trying to do here,but i am pretty sure breya will decline the offer

"yea sure i dont mind" breya shrugs
