Michelle's POV

"With her?!. Dad, please--no. You gotta be kidding me--" Sabi ko.

"Well, you said you wanted to prove yourself right?. Eto na yun. You're going to work with Rhian. Malay natin baka may matutunan ka pang new practical skills and knowledge from her."

"But seriously? As her assistant?! That's not fair!."

"Nothing's fair in this world sweetheart. Don't worry, pag ginawa mo ng maayos ang trabaho mo then I'll consider you next in line, specifically as the new president of this company." Sabi ni Daddy.

"What could I possibly prove by being her assistant?. This makes no sense." Sabi ko.

"E-excuse me Sir, nasa meeting room na ho sila lahat." Pasok ni Tuesday.

"Okay, just a second. So, I guess that's all for today ladies. Maiwan ko na kayo. And yeah, have a nice trip." Huling sabi ni Daddy at nagmadali nang umalis.

Tsk this is hopeless.

Mas mabuti pang tamaan ng kidlat kaysa makasama tong babaeng to.

Rhian's POV

8 PM

Nag-iimpake nako ngayon ng mga gamit ko para sa out of town trip namin ni Michelle to join this group of mountaineers and document their journey and stories.

Michelle will be assisting me as instructed, and I was also assigned to document her behavior and performance as well.

Kasama na dun yung di nya pagsunod sa kahit anong ipag-uutos ko.

Honestly, excited ako sa trip nato kasi first time kong umakyat ng bundok.

Tapos kasama ko pa si Michelle.

Well, speaking of. Napangiti nalang ako nang makitang nagtext siya sakin.

It's been a while, di pa rin pala siya nagpapalit ng number since highschool.

Actually, wifey is her name in my phone.

FLASHBACK

Senior highschool - All girls school

"Mich, you're gonna be the husband." Our group leader Irene assigned.

We're actually preparing for our upcoming school play.

"What? Why me?." Michelle objected.

"Why? Do you see any guy here?. Besides, you're the tallest." Sabi ni Irene.

"Ayoko." Sabi ni Michelle.

Nagtinginan nalang ang ibang members. Well, what do you expect?

May titigas pa ba sa ulo ni Michelle Dee?.

"I'll be the husband." Volunteer ko.

"O-okay then--who's going to take your place as the wife?." Sabi ni Tuesday.

I instantly pointed at Michelle.

"No!." Agad na sabi nito.

"Inako ko na yung role na para sana sayo, siguro naman you do the favor of taking my role. I'm pretty sure di mo gugustuhing bumagsak sa subject na to--"
