KINABUKASAN
I came late to the office dahil medyo naparami na naman ang inom ko kagabi.
Papunta nako sa desk ko ng makasalubong si Rhian sa hallway greeting me Good Morning with that annoying smile again tsk. Saka ano bang kabaduyan yung pinagsasabi niya kagabi sakin that she wants to make me smile?.
Mali talagang pinag-aksayahan ko pa siya ng oras eh.
But thank goodness Franki came to me to save my day.
"Morning." Franki greeted me.
"Morning." I said, smiling back at her.

Rhian's POV
Seriously? Sa harap ko talaga? tsk.
At ayun nag-usap pa nga sila kaya umexit nako bago pako tuluyang maging criminal.
LUNCH BREAK
Ganun parin ang scenario, kasama nya parin yung Franki na yun.
"Girl chill. Anong pinuputok ng botche mo at pinagdidiskitahan mo yang salad." Takang sabi ni Tuesday.
"Nothing."
"Ano ba kasing nangyari? Ba't bad trip ka? Ano na namang ginawa ng impakta?." Sabi ni Tuesday.
"Wala."
"Ano ngaaa?."
"Wala nga." Sabi ko.
SILENCE
"Alam mo, medyo nakakahalata nako sayo ah." Biglang seryosong sabi ni Tuesday kaya bigla akong kinabahan.
"H-ha?."
"Pakiramdam mo ba binabackstab tayo ng impaktang anak ng boss natin at yang bagong minion nya?." Sabi ni Tuesday. Kaya medyo nakahinga narin ako ng maluwag.
"Alam mo girl, wag mo nga silang pansinin. At saka kung feel mo may pinaplano silang masama na gawin sayo, don't worry andito lang ako para rumesbak." Sabi pa niya.
"T-thanks for your concern, but nope. Di yun." Sabi ko.
"Eh ano?."
"Basta. Haaays, kumain na nga lang tayo. Marami pa tayong kailangang tapusin."

FF
AFTER WORK
Franki invited me to go out and go clubbing with a couple of friends. We were just happily drinking when,
"Isn't that Miss Ramos?." Franki pointed, and she's not wrong.
Tsk ano namang ginagawa ng babaeng yan dito? Nag-excuse muna ako kina Franki at lumapit kay Rhian. I mean she's drinking alone here and,
"Are you following me?." Confront ko rito.
"W-what? Why would I even do that?." She's obviously lying. Sunod sunod pa yung inom niya.
"Okay, that's enough." Layo ko sa kanya ng bottle.
"The heck? And who gave you the permission to stop me from drinking? Tsk." Sabi niya. Hindi pa naman siya lasing.
"Where's Tuesday or your other friends? Why are you here alone?." Sabi ko.
"Why do you even care? Tsk." Sabi niya.
Oo nga naman Michelle, why do you care?
"W-well, about the promotion--" Change topic ko.
"I told you it's all yours. Well, as long as you stay away from that stupid half aussie girl." She said.
"Ba't ba atat na atat ka na ilayo si Franki sakin? I mean my only friend in the building. Or natatakot ka na maybe we're up to something--"
"Tsk ikaw lang naman ang nag-iisip nyan. Akin na nga yan." Sabi niya sabay hablot ng bottle na binawi ko sa kanya kanina at uminom.
"Ano ba? Ibibigay mo ba sakin o hindi?." Sabi ko, referring to the promotion.
"No, 'cause I haven't made you smile yet." Sabi niya.
"Ayan ka na naman sa kabaduyan mo. What does that even have to do with it?. Eto, I'm smiling. Ibibigay mo na ba sakin?." I said as I forced a smile.
"I told you that I will give your Dad my word this morning and I did. I told him to extend and leave a room for your candidacy for the position." Sabi niya.
"A-and then what?."
"He said NO."
"T-that's it?. Tsk unbelievable. Thanks for reminding me why I hate him." Sabi ko.
"Hey, he's not that bad." Sabi niya as if she was so sure.
"Yeah sure, 'cause you probably boning him or something tsk." I sarcastically said.
"Excuse me?." Biglang nag-iba yung tone niya.
"I mean sure, you're great at doing your job and I myself is doing hella great as well so I can't really wrap my head around the idea that it's easier for him to promote a stranger than his own daughter who's equally capable."
"You clearly know nothing about me." Seryosong sabi niya.
SILENCE
"I-I mean--lumaklak ka ba ng anaesthesia ha?." Sabi pa niya.
"You're talking nonsense again--"
"No! You listen to me. Mahal kita! There, I said it. Kahit ansama-sama ng ugali mo, mahal kita! Kahit halos araw-araw ang turing mo sakin basura, mahal kita! Kahit minsan nangangamoy na yung paa mo dahil di ka na naman nagmedyas, mahal parin kita!. Ptang ina!. You had no idea how I tried my best to impress you by being great in everything only to be seen as a competition by you. Pero ang pagbintangan ako for having an affair with--" Sabi niya.
SILENCE
"You know what, nevermind tsk." Sabi pa nito at paalis na sana,
Hmm so, this is how you want to play it ha tsk pathetic. But okay Ramos, suit yourself. Because I'm gonna beat you in your own game.
"Wait, Rhian--" Sabi ko.
