FELINE FASCINATION (RHIAN x MICHELLE)

Chapter 5

Rhian's POV

7 PM

Maagang natulog ang iba naming kasamahan, hinihintay ko nalang si Michelle na pumasok ng tent galing magtoothbrush. Well, speaking of the d, she's here.

Sinara nya na ang tent. But the look on her face seems different, it's like a dark aura.

She sat next to my feet as she looked down on me. Bumangon ako sabay sabing,

"A-about kanina, I'm sorry p-pero kasi--"

She just seriously looked at me before saying,

"Di nako magpapaligoy-ligoy pa. Bukas uuwi na tayo at matatapos na to and babalik na naman tayo sa lecheng buhay natin in and outside the office. And for all we know, there may be a promotion waiting for you."

"And you're saying?."

"Don't accept it." Sabi niya.

"You know I can't do that just because you told me to." Sabi ko.

"I know. E-eto nalang, ano bang gusto mong gawin ko para di mo lang tanggapin yun?."

"Anything?."

"Anything." Sabi niya.

"Hmm pag-iisipan ko."

"Look, Rhian--"

"I said I'll think about it. Goodnight Michelle." Sabi ko lang at humiga na.

2 DAYS LATER

Sa office ni Sir Derek.

"She certainly just didn't say that haha. Seriously? Aaaanything?." Sabi ni Sir Derek.

"Tito, ba't nyo pa kasi siya pinapahirapan?. I mean okay naman yung performance nya in the company, in fact she's doing better than me and the rest of people in the company. Saka, seriously?. Pinaakyat nyo pa talaga kami ng bundok para lang makapagbond." Sabi ko.

"Take it as a favor. Favor for you kasi nakasama mo siya, and favor for me kasi at least nalaman ko that she's not desperate enough to kill you just to get the position. I guess that's a win-win situation, don't you think?." Sabi niya.

"So, what's our next move Tito?." Sabi ko.

"Well, next week I'm going to assign her to this meet & greet event and feeding program with the glass children foundation. Alam mo naman yun, laging nakasimangot. So, your next task is to make or help her smile genuinely. Baka mangyari eh mawalan pa ng pag-asa yung mga bata pag nakita yung nakasimangot nyang mukha. Ano? G?." Sabi ni Sir Derek.

"G." Nakangiti kong sabi rito.

Well, this is gonna be a loooong week.

10 PM

Sa Parking Area

Lumapit nako agad kay Michelle na kasalukuyang namomroblema sa flat na gulong ng kotse nito.

"Sumabay ka na sakin." I offered.

"Ikaw siguro gumawa nito no?!."

"U-uy, wala akong alam dyan ah. Ikaw na nga tong tinutulungan, nakuha mo pakong pagbintangan. Anyways, hop in." Sabi ko.
