It's just one of those nights
that passes by so slowly that I can hear the minutes talk
and I can feel my bones strain beneath a clockwork life
It's just one of those nights
Where, in the dark of my mind,
I think back to all the things I've said
and all the words I wish I hadn't
and all the words I wish I had
It's just one of those nights
When my only friends are those words
and those minutes so loud that their voices are weltered
and the cracking of my bones that pains me subconsciously
It's just one of those nights
Where I'm lost beyond the light of the moon
With the dark so unforgiving that it claws at my flesh
To leave nothing but the dusty bones of a foundered skeleton
