Ghazal: "An Ocean and a Rock"
Sea Gulls scavenge the ocean of weeds; the rock sinks below the sea
Message bottles split the tides; oceanic eyes lighten the sea
Stars are jealous of the ocean's eyes; stone wades in the sea's dark depths
Current ruins all the world; envy of the sky drunk by the sea
Tides take the water dwellers; pearl flakes all its ivory layers
Shark's mouth snatches the pearl; eyes of denizens retreat in the sea
Waves tip all the lonely boats; whirlpool swallows all the lost drifters
Algae plunders the pallid skins; all souls are sinking in the sea
If your heart wasn't an ocean, I wouldn't drown down in its tides
If my heart wasn't heavy, I wouldn't sink like rocks in the sea
