It has been a few days since that incident and the robots haven't attacked us yet. We are still continuing our journey trying our best to not fall in the eyes of those robots. We were now in some city like place with ruined buildings and trees. Our friendly robots are still with us.

Just then we heard a small explosion behind us that caused the ground beneath us tremble. I looked back and saw some of the people and robots who were behind us explode. "No!" I screamed. This can't be happening. I looked around and saw many robots in varying sizes slowly surrounding us. There was no way we could defeat those.

"Run!" I shouted as we all took off, finding a place to hide. There was unfortunately no place to hide. The explosions and screams were all I heard. I started to feel dizzy and everything went black.

I woke up to a world on fire.My heart pounded in my chest as I watched in horror as robots, cold and mechanical, ruthlessly attacked everything in sight. It felt like a nightmare, but there was no waking up from this reality.

In the midst of the chaos, I started searching for my family but they were nowhere in sight.I desperately started looking for my best friends, Mike, Angela, and Rose.We had been inseparable since childhood, and the thought of losing them in this madness sent shivers down my spine. I called out their names, my voice drowned out by the cacophony of explosions and gunfire. Fear gripped my every thought as I raced through the crumbling buildings, hoping to find them unharmed.

Finally, I spotted them, huddled together near a burning car, their faces etched with fear and determination. Relief washed over me as I rushed to join them. Mike's eyes met mine, a mix of disbelief and resolve. "We can't let them win, Justin. We have to fight back," he said, his voice filled with determination.

Angela nodded, her voice steady despite the chaos surrounding us. "We've always been there for each other, Justin. We won't let these robots tear us apart." Her words fueled my determination, and I knew we had to stand together, no matter the cost.

As we braced ourselves for the battle ahead, the robots closed in on us, their metallic limbs moving with inhuman precision. We fought with every ounce of strength we had, but it soon became clear that we were outmatched. The robots seemed unstoppable, their cold, unfeeling eyes reflecting our impending doom.

In a heartbreaking twist of fate, I watched as Angela was overwhelmed by a group of robots. She fought valiantly, but the odds were against her. Her screams echoed through the air, piercing my soul. I wanted to rush to her aid, but I knew I had to keep fighting. Tears streamed down my face as I battled through a haze of grief and rage.

Suddenly, I heard Rose's agonized cry. I turned, only to witness her being lifted into the air by a massive robotic arm. Her eyes met mine, filled with a mix of terror and sadness. "Justin, I'm so sorry," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the chaos. And then, in an instant, she was gone, swallowed by the cold grip of the machine. My heart shattered into a million pieces, and I felt a part of me die with her.

With every loss, the weight of despair grew heavier upon us. Mike and I fought side by side, our bond stronger than ever, but we knew our chances were dwindling. The robots closed in on us, their metallic claws reaching out to claim their final victory. I turned to Mike, our eyes locking in a shared understanding. We were facing the end together.

In a final act of defiance, we charged at the robots, fueled by grief, anger, and an unyielding love for our fallen friends. The battle raged on, but our efforts were in vain. The robots overpowered us, their relentless force overwhelming our defenses. As the darkness consumed me, I couldn't help but feel a bittersweet relief. At least we would be reunited with those we had lost.

I again woke up in the same place I was before. I was alive! But my happiness was short lived when I thought about my family and friends. I started searching for them and found Mike laying near some ruined buildings.

I rushed over to him. "Mike! Wake up please!" I screamed. I checked his heart rate and he was breathing. Thank goodness. I spotted a broken tap with water flowing through it and dragged Mike towards it. I let the water splash over his face and body. Within seconds, he woke up. I was so relieved.

"Mike! Oh my god! Are you okay?" I asked in a panicked voice. "Y-yeah. I think so," he managed to say in a barely audible voice. I helped him up. "So, Rose is gone, right?" He asked as tears filled his eyes. We both started crying uncontrollably. All the memories flooded my mind.

"Where is the rest of us?" He asked after a few moments. "I don't know. Let's look for them," I said as we got up and stumbled through the mess.

After searching for a long time, I spotted Angela. "There!" I screamed as we both headed her direction. I silently prayed for her to be alive. "Angela!" Mike screamed as he checked her breathing and heart rate. Luckily, she was alive and didn't have many bruises on her.

We slowly sat her up as she regained her consciousness. She started coughing. "Mike...Justin? We're still alive?" Her voice croaked as she spoke. We quickly nodded and embraced her into a hug.

After a few moments, she pulled back and asked," Where is Rose?" Mike started tearing up again and he whispered,"She's gone, Angela." She started crying and we were all a sobbing mess again.

"We can't find our parents anywhere," I broke the silence. "I-i saw our parents boarding a helicopter that was driven by 2 people before passing out," she said. "Thank God. Atleast they are safe. We need to find our way out," I said and they both agreed.

We could still hear explosions in the distance. It was the first time i experienced losing a loved one. I just hope everything turns out good after going through this much.
