Max Mayfield always feels bad about relying on the Munson's for company. However, Eddie and Wayne never feel bad about her presence at all.
They love her- she's practically family. Family to the point that when she became wheelchair-ridden, Eddie helped Wayne custom build a ramp for their trailer so that she could come and go whenever she pleased. They also helped Susan install one on the Mayfield trailer, too.
They go everywhere together. Grocery shopping, music store lurking- all sorts. It's also not uncommon to find Eddie sharing his beers and snacks with her, even though it could get him in yet another stake of deep shit.
They sat and talked when nights were long- pondered the world together, slumped on the couch with chip bags in their hands and eyes glued to the ceiling.
Max Mayfield hung out with Eddie Munson to the point that they were basically siblings. Siblings that even Wayne would ask about the absence of if one hadn't been around for a while.
