aaliyah's pov :
"are you excited?", i ask as i pull the car over before putting it in park.
"about?", matt asks as he pops a few fries into his mouth.
"everything. moving, the channel...not having to deal with snow during the winter," i chuckle as i reach into the paper bag for my food.
"yeah, i think it'll be good for us, i'll definitely miss boston though," he sighs.
"well it's not like you can't visit," i shrug my shoulders, taking a sip of my drink.
"well...yeah but that'll be once every blue moon, and i honestly don't want all of us to get distant."
"we won't let that happen though, right?", i glance at him with a gentle grin.
"mhm," he hums.
i silently hold out my pinky which matt glances at momentarily before gently intertwining his pinky finger with mine.
"change is scary, but we'll all grow into it, okay?", i nod, waiting for it to be returned.
matt nods as we pull our hands away, "what about you?"
"what about me?", i retort.
"what's the plan?", he shifts slightly in his seat to face me.
"well, nick has been teaching me how to edit and i like replying to comments and stuff so, i think youtube is a go," i say giddily.
