Y/N's POV

I exchanged hellos with Peter and Dr. Drew. They were kind enough to speak about the portals a bit. We spoke of our earths for a bit.

"Miguel! Are you gonna stop staring and let us know our next move?", Peter waved his hand in his face.

It was no secret that Miguel was staring. I like to believe that the suit is flattering.

"Of course. I was just wondering why you don't have a mask.", Miguel gestured to me as if he wasn't already looking.

"That's because I can do this.", I pressed the center of my horns and it transformed into a full metal mask.

"Oh. Okay. Next mission is to retrieve an anomaly on Earth -96283. Two of us will go and two of us will be backup.", Miguel said.

"I call back up!", Peter yelled out raising his hand. Miguel gave him a look of annoyance.

"Actually I was thinking you and I could go and Jessica and Y/N be backup.", Miguel said not even looking at Peter.

"Vetoed. I am going to be on backup with Jessica. And Mayday.", Peter gave him and smirk and started to play with Mayday.

"Fine. Let's go Y/N.", Miguel entered something into his watch and a portal appeared. With no words he just walked through and let me follow.

"So, you like my suit?", I asked Miguel as we walked Earth -96283.

"Not very Spider-Man like of you. It's not even our colors.", He said just walking forward. "So you really decided to embrace the name you were given in your universe."

"I know trickster magic and have spider powers. I would call myself a tricky spider. I know you called me a shifty spider.", he stayed quiet at me bringing up the past, "Also I know you like the suit because I could feel your eyes on me the whole time."

Miguel said nothing. I bet he blushed I just couldn't see it under his mask.

"Fine. Stay quiet.", I ran off jumping on buildings. It was playful. Back on my original Earth I would often run off and have him find me.

"Come on! Y/N we have a job to do!", he yelled out to me. He was gonna try and find me. I saw his stance change.

"I'll make it easy!", I yelled out from wherever I was. (Like 30ft from him). I blew a few of my pheromones in the wind. I could tell when he smelled them because he immediately turned in my direction.

I giggled and started running again. The great thing about the pheromones is that we alert other spiders so our locations. However, the one I used was more for letting a man spider know where you were. It wasn't a strong concentrate. In flirting terms I blew him a kiss.

Immediately he came running after me. I couldn't help but laugh. He was actually trying.

Miguel caught up to me on a rooftop garden. Too bad he was too irritated by my game.

I went to leap off the roof to start running again but he stopped me. He had wrapped me in his webs and brought me to his face.

"Enough playing around Y/N.". Miguel spoke to me sternly.

"You used to love all the teasing I did back on my earth.", I gave him a small smile before a mischievous one.

"Why the look?", oh good, he noticed.

I blew him another kiss letting more pheromones come into contact with his senses.

"Stop that! That's not something to abuse!", he scolded me as he tightened his grip on me.

"It gets you to chase me doesn't it?", I asked with a cheeky grin.

"It makes me want to do more than chase you and you know it.", he said unwrapping me from his web.

"Well consider it payback for breaking me up with my boyfriend. Now we both are frustrated.", I said playfully. His only response was a scoff.

"Keep using those and see what happens mi nena.", I laughed at him.

"In your dreams.", I said still laughing.

"Let's just do what we need to do and then go.", Miguel said with an annoyance in his voice. I listened and followed him to the chaos.

Sure enough there was something out of place. There was a thing that looked a lot like it would be a version of the Goblin from the future. It also happened to be glitching. There was already a Spider-Man fighting it.

"Come on!,", Miguel yelled out before going straight to the battle. I turned my horns into the mask and charged in.

The glitching made the bad guy incredibly unpredictable. To make it worse his tech was incredibly different than ours. I did as much damage control I could. Miguel and the other Spider-Man seemed to be doing well until a bomb went off near them. I brought attention to myself in order to keep the other two safe.

The goblin thing turned and I made copies of myself to distract it. Me and my illusions all ran up to attack. I was able to land a few blows before being blown away myself.

However as soon as I saw the bomb above to go off and attached as many webs as I could to the goblin and took it crashing into the rubble with me. Before I could even get up the other Spider-Man was finishing up what I started and encasing the goblin in more webs.

"Holy shit.", I sat up letting out a little cough.

"Y/N are okay?", Miguel came rushing over to me to try and help me up. I took his offer of help and took his hand.

"I'm okay. Just been a while since I was thrown into some concrete.", I took off the horns and let out a little laugh. I gave Miguel a smile.

"So, did you miss being Spider-Man with me?", he asked, such confidence in his voice.

"I missed it as much as a fly misses the web.", I said knowing he would hate that answer. He didn't appreciate anything that wasn't straight to the point.

"Let's get back to HQ.", he said ignoring my answer like I knew he would.

"Thank god, I am tired.", I was ready to relax for a second. I had been up all night before Miguel essentially recruited me and now this battle.

Fingers crossed he does not ask anymore tasks of me.

As we went back to hq I couldn't help but think of how nice it was to hang out with Miguel again as Spider-Man. The playing around was something I missed. While Miguel was chasing me it felt as if all those years of no communication never happened. Things felt normal.

A/N

Hope you like it! I know it's a bit slow and boring, I just want to build up more character between the two so the relationship doesn't feel forced or like it appeared out of thin air. Thank you again for reading :)
