And yes... You may love something and it's not good for you and you might hate something and it is the best for you, for Allah knows what is best for us but we don't 😊🫶

Heba wasn't so sure if the embrace was all she needed, damn she doesn't even know what she was feeling but she was feeling something; she has had dreams about her parents before but she has never seen them come this close and today when she finally met them, physically... It has to turn out to be a dream, a short one at that.
She felt a deep cut in her heart, it was as if a merciless hand was squeezing that thing called a heart out of her chest.

She didn't know what else to do than to cry her eyes out, she can't contain this any longer, she can't keep smiling and acting like she is fine inside when she isn't.
"It's okay" Those were the soft words her husband kept comforting her with and she only kept whimpering, like a lost baby that got separated from his mother because yes, she doubts if she will ever be able to see her parents again, not even in a dream.

Bristol, UK.

Ikiey and Dr. Hammad were very busy having a private session with the patient in his ward. He is a 50-year-old Nigerian but Bristol based with MS condition. Ikiey enjoyed having conversations with him, well... She prays and has full faith that the man would get better eventually, she was going to do anything to make sure of that.

Now, she is left alone with the patient and a nurse to assist her because Dr. Hammad had gone somewhere like an hour ago.
"How are you feeling now?" Ikiey asked for the umpteenth time. The more she attends to the patient the more she asks about his health as if she wasn't a doctor enough to know what and how he was feeling.

"Again and again... I will be fine in shaa Allah" this is the same answer the man named Mr. Fawaz kept giving.
Nodding her head to the answer with a small smile on, she said "Apart from medical treatments here, there are certain self care remedies you can help yourself with. You are dealing with a chronic MS and I would advise you to engage in lots of exercises, meditate more often, engage in social activities, and avoid stress, anything stress please avoid it... I believe you've been told during the therapy session"
The man shook his head in response with a small smile donning his facials "Thank you Doctor..." trying to remember her name which she had mentioned earlier when they first met
"Ikram!" She helped him pronounce it and he recalled. "Thank you very much Dr. Ikram" he appreciated and Ikram nodded "No problem"

"Dr. Hammad informed me about your MRI test which will be out by next week in shaa Allah, be prepared for it, you may receive an intravenous injection of a contrast material to highlight lesions that indicate your disease is an active phase but before then Mr. Fawaz, the nurse here will give you some interferons before next week, and we will monitor your liver enzymes from there" she concluded and motioned to the white nurse to carry over.
"Thank you very much Doc" the elderly man appreciated once more as he flashed Ikram an enthralling smile as if he wasn't in severe pain.

The double D's manse

Muhammad, Heba's cousin, was already in the house. He has been there for the past 30 minutes now and he has literally met all the members of the family including Hajiya, Ikiey's mother.
Everyone was welcoming except Hajiya but Muhammad is an understanding person, he wouldn't let one negativity prevail over the good vibes and warm welcome he got from the other members of the family.
They are truly nice people, I'm happy for Hebs.
He had thought.

Muhammad had a group chat with Habib and Jawaad, he enjoyed the chat and got to know his cousin's husband better.
He came back to the living room and spent time with Heba, they talked over a lot of things and even got to video call Ayeza and Omaa back home, it was a beautiful experience and to be very honest, that very moment, Heba missed home, she missed Omaa, Ayeza, and Di more than she had thought she did.
Nevertheless, at least talking with Muhammad about a whole lot of things lifted her soul and it was enough to cover up every other things missing or she wasn't feeling too good over.
