When asked about Umrah's benefits, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, "Perform Hajj and Umrah consecutively, for they remove poverty and sin as hollers remove impurity from iron."

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Dropping off at Jeddah, the nearest airport to Mecca, they both entered Ihram, the sacred state that Muslims enter and remain in during the special rituals and events that are required to complete Umrah. They were all donned in white at this point and Subhannallah, Heba absolutely loved the sudden, overwhelming feeling of profound spirituality and devotion that uplifted her soul.  This is it! She whispered to herself as she exchanged a brief eye contact with her husband who held her hands all through since there were too many people around. Of course, people travel down here from different countries to perform Umrah, especially since it's almost Ramadan.

The couples visited Khayal Restaurant and got some sea food packages to eat on their way to Mecca which is about 30 miles from Jeddah. They enjoyed the walk, the holding of hands, and the closeness they felt all during their time in Jeddah before they arrived in Mecca. Immediately they got to Mecca, they boarded a taxi to their hotel which is one of the closest to Ka'aba. Unlike Heba who was new in this city, Habib was quite familiar with Mecca. He has performed Umrah a few times. Heba watched the city from inside the car, how breathtaking, she has never been to a city this beautiful before. The tall towers, Arabic calligraphy well crafted on buildings, the people bustling around, fellow pilgrims that she could literally feel a deep connection to history and faith. Subhannallah, the feeling was utterly incredible and unexplanationable.

Subconsciously, tears of joy filled her eyes and eventually dropped down her cheeks. Habib saw the glint in her and without her uttering a word, he understood what she was feeling, he had felt that too the very first time he stepped his foot in this holy land. He simply pulled her closer and made her rely on his shoulder as he gently caressed her head cloth and whispered "May Allah accept our prayers and may this Ramadan bring nothing but blessings to us and our Families" He sincerely prayed and a silent "Ameen" slipped out of Heba's lips.

The moment they pulled closer into the hotel after following all the appropriate procedures, Heba was left in awe. A majestic hotel with an impressive blend of modern superfluity and customary Islamic architecture. From the exterior which was adorned with intricate carvings and elegant calligraphy showing the beauty of Arabic art to the magnanimous interior filled with sophistication. The walk to their room was pretty fast, Habib booked a closer room from the second floor, he seemed to be familiar with the area as he moved so freely, still holding onto his wife's hand while the hotel Porter tails behind them like a lost puppy, following his master.

"Jazakallah Khairan '' Habib uttered as they all halted in front of their room. The man answered, turned around, leaving the couples alone. They uttered bismillah the moment Habib used the room card to access his room and they gradually stepped in. Heba just wanted to cry out her eyes, she felt happy, she didn't know how to contain all of it and all she wanted to do was brawl her eyes out. Indeed, the room is fit for royalty, from the exquisite decor to plush furniture, Heba left in total astonishment. Is it the beautiful Islamic artworks embellishing the circled walls, delicate ornaments creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere, or the large window that gives off the beautiful view of the Ka'aba inviting one to sink into its comfort?

The room was well equipped with the right modern amenities including a large flat-screen TV, a minibar stocked with refreshing drinks, and the en-suite with a deep soaking tub and a rainfall shower. A sanctuary of luxury and relaxation for pilgrims seeking comfort during their stay in Mecca. Heba can only wonder about the cost of a room like this but she can't stop thanking Allah for a husband like Habib.
"This is beautiful, I love it" She softly spoke and Habib, not expecting less, hugged her.

They took the warmest shower and prepared themselves for Maghrib prayers, but just then, Heba's period started and more than ever, she was disappointed and couldn't help but cry hell! It came earlier than expected, she had wanted to spend her first few days in Mecca, praying a lot of nawafit and tahajjud which she hasn't been able to keep up with at home, and now her period is here! Realisation drawn on her that she would miss the first few days of Ramadan in this holy land she couldn't help but cry uncontrollably after cleaning herself up. That action cracked Habib up as she acted more like a baby than a twenty-three-year-old.

She put up a puppy face and looked at him, faking an angry face "It's funny, right? While you get to do lots of Ibada, I'm in this condition" She whined and he couldn't help but laugh harder. Well, after joking around, he consoled her and assured her that Allah would reward her just as much, she just needed to be intentional and still make other acts of Ibadah apart from prayers. She eventually calmed down and They got ready for the Maghrib congregation, both looking stunning in their whites.

Heba fell in love with the aura that surrounded the whole place, the air filled with prayers and recitations, creating a serene and sacred atmosphere, she doubts if she would ever recover from this love, this is surely the type of experience that will leave an everlasting imprint on one's heart. Mecca is surely the best place for healing, she suddenly felt closer to Allah, like she could feel his presence amidst the thousands of people there. The profound sense of connection and unity with all the Muslims there, it was blissful as they were all there with the sole intention to worship Allah and gain his reward.
Not to mention the sight of the glorious Ka'aba draped in its black fabric, was beautiful.

Habib led her to the prophet's mosque, known as Masjid An Nabawi, motioned to her to take a seat where he would be able to find her once he was done with prayers and Heba nodded, assuring him that she has got this, he repeatedly ask her to be careful and call him if anything goes wrong which she nodded to before they departed. From the exterior of the mosque, adorned with beautiful domes, arches, and minarets. The iconic green dome stands tall, serving as a beacon of tranquillity and reverence. Heba stayed at the women's corner and prayed so much, she prayed, prayed and prayed until she could no longer pray. She smiled all through as if Allah was already saying "Be, and it will Be" to all her heart desires.

"Ya Allah, it's me, your sinful servant! I am here again on my mat on this peaceful and beautiful night, guide me, my husband and families to the right path, the path of those who have earned your paradise and not the path of those who have gone astray. Ya Allah forgive my shortcomings and increase your love in my heart, the love for you, your prophets, your servants and your holy Book, Ya Allah save my Muslim brothers and sisters in Palestine and let them be victorious in this battle, ya Allah forgive the death and grant them peace. Ya Allah forgive... my parents, forgive them and grant them Jannah! Ya Allah forgive those that have oppressed me, mentally and emotionally as I have forgiven them, myself"

"Ya Allah... Guide me through life with my husband, Habib Aman Dandachi"

"Ya Allah bless Jawaad and Sheeba's life, same with Akhi and Ikiey's... Ya Allah bless them with beneficial children''

"Ya Allah... Omaa and Abooh... Bless them abundantly and grant them your Rahma, Umma, Abooh, and Hajiya, Ya Allah grant them long life and prosperity and heal them wherever it hurts"

"Ya Allah, thank you for blessing me with this LOVE, to feel love and to be loved. For my LOVE AFTER NIKKAH, Shukran ya Rab"

They held onto each other's hands, and watched from their large window, how the moon popped out, indicating the start of Ramadan, they were so happy. "Alhamdulillah" Habib was first to make a remark and like that, they wrapped their hands across eachother's torso.

Their time in UMrah_ they laughed, they cried, they prayed and they felt peaceful at all times!

It's a happy ever after type of story, do they deserve it?
