Life is so ironic; it takes sadness for one to experience happiness, noise to distinguish silence, and a broken heart to find true love_ copied.

Heba has gone through so much pain in the past. From having to live her whole life without her parents, to living in a community where she was labeled a bad luck. She lived in sadness that she never thought a day like this would come, a day where she get to live and love freely. A day where she gets to smile and her cheeks start to hurt, a day she can be the wife to such an almost perfect man, the fun thing is being loved right by this man.
Truly, it takes sadness to experience happiness, if this is what it is, then the sadness is worth the aftermath happiness.Habib on the other hand, feels so fulfilled to be a husband. No, there is nothing better than the feeling of loving your wife right, so halal. He feels like the love he has for Heba is way greater than the one he had for Shams, and thinking about it now, he can't live without Heba and that's on period. Because if he had that mental breakdown for two years after the demise of Shams, then he wonder what losing Heba would be like, he doesn't like accommodating such thoughts, so he dismissed it immediately as he swiveled his way over to her and first thing he saw was her sweet smile as she watched him from the kitchen bar, making some pasta for lunch.
"Hey dear, you okay?" He asked, smiling as he talks a pause to admire the view in front of him.
"I'm good. You sure you don't need some help?" Heba asked, still wearing the sweet smile with a little squint. "Nah, I'm good here. You should watch me cook some delicious pasta you've never had!" He winked after that and Heba burst out.
"Okay Husband material!" and that got the butterflies in Habib's tummy dancing.
She watched him as he skillfully made the pasta and the way he did his thing was just unique, Heba couldn't help but ask."How did you learn how to cook this well?" Folding her hands across her chest
"Well..." he glanced at her before he continue with his work while he answered "I always watch Umma cook in the kitchen and that was how the art of cooking piqued my interest. I wanted to be able to come up with any recipe and cook delicious meals so I started by joining Umma in the kitchen whenever she was cooking"
"I tried to learn the special tea recipe she normally makes for Abba but... Mine will never taste like her's and I think that's why Abba would kill to have tea made by Umma every morning" He joked and they let out humorless chuckles.
"True! Even when Abooh was in the hospital, Omaa always makes that tea for him and he never stop complimenting her for that. Is it that nice?" Heba added, asking and Habib paused what he was doing to answer her question."Trust me, it's one of the best tea you would ever have. Funny enough, Umma doesn't make it for any other person apart from Abba. I only got lucky once and I loved it. I think we should cajole Umma into making some tea for us someday, what do you think?" He winked at his wife who laughed once again.
"Hearing this, I will definitely take that deal because I also wanna have a taste of that special tea" Heba smiled while Habib continued the story.
"So... Since I couldn't make the special tea no matter how much I try, I opted to try out some snacks, and from there, I learned a few more recipes from Umma" He paused and before he could continue, Heba threw him a question."You mean... Omaa thought you everything about cooking?"
"Not exactly everything. I learn more from one of my old friends from the next street. He had the biggest restaurant then and he was a good cook. He taught me a few hacks, and tips and to be honest, he also taught me different pasta recipes before he passed away and... His sons sold out the restaurant" He sadly ended with a sad tone and smile.
"Ouch... May Allah forgive him and grant him Jannah" Heba prayed and he answered.
"I wanted to buy the restaurant at that time but... It was too late for me" He ended the narration and Heba felt mushy for her husband.
