The Contract

Chapter 4

I close my eyes sinking deeper into the seat as his words stick in my head, he may be a fucked up ass but his words weren't wrong. My pulse picks up as the memory of Luke kissing me comes to mine. What if I let him have his way with me? I knew I would have hated it and I would have hated myself.

This was typical Allison behaviour, when I need to clear my mind I don't think much before doing anything, I have had a couple people I have kissed to kind of clear my mind and regretted it right after

"Put your seatbelt on" Alex says

I didn't even look at him, I curled up putting my head on the window.

"Quit being stubborn Allison and just put your seatbelt on" his voice was higher and filled with anger

i blocked him out after that, he was saying stuff but I was too busy in my head trying to make sense of things that jsut happened.

I mean I don't know Alexander but he isn't bad look so why does he want me? There has to be a reason for it, something forcing him to marry me, something he is hiding.

my head started hurting because of the alcohol I had, it was a couple shots but it hurt a lot, as reality was setting in i knew tonight shouldn't have happened. Luke meant nothing and he never will mean anything but I shouldn't have done that

"Allison" he calls again but as usual I ignore it

"ALLISON LOOK AT ME" he screamed this time making me sigh

I turned a little to look at him.

"What" I ask

"Are your parents a sleep?" He asks

"Sleep, yeah no maybe, why?" I ask

"Because the shots you took seem to be affecting you a little and you are drunk" he siad

"I am not drunk" I say

"Ya and I am the president" I giggle involuntary but stop as soon as I realize what I was doing I stopped

"Say yes to this marriage, you will be doing your parents a favour" he said

"What favour? Giving them a son in law" I ask chuckling

"No, Allison there is a lot you aren't aware of, your parents need this as much as I do and believe it or not, you out of all of us need it the most" I couldn't help but notice how his voice had softened a little

"Need what?" I ask

"Go home, ill give you a call later" he said

"I am not giving you my number thank you very much" I said

He got out of the car and opened my door, I stepped out and looked around to find us at home, well in the parking

"Oh my gosh home" I giggle

"shouldn't have drank that much" he says

"You are not my dad" I pout at him

"Sure I'm not but you should not drink, not when I'm not there to handle it" he says picking me up

"Leave me alone, I will ask Luke" I whine

"Ya over my god damn dead body" i heard him

I felt something warm and comfy under me making me smile. I close my eyes feeling sleepy.

"You will marry me, thats a challenge" I heard Alex's voice

"No" I felt myself say but did I actually say it or not, I'm not too sure

I woke up groaning, my head felt like someone was hammering it and it felt awful. I should not have had shots, I mean ya I had 3 I think but that about it.

"Mama" I yell

"Oh you don't have to yell sweetheart, im right here" I open my eyes to see her and dad sitting there

"Ahh my head hurts so bad" I whine holding it

"Of course it does, I thought I had warned you not to drink" dad said

"I promise I had 3 shots, only because lily forced me, she is the birthday girl"

"We know, Alexander explained last night. we aren't upset" mama says

"Alex?" I ask

"Yeah, he told your dad that you wanted to be safe and so he drove you and that you wanted to come to our room but you were so tired so he forced you not to"

What the heck? Alex said that to them, why?

"Here take this pill and then hop in the shower" mama says giving me the pill

"Thank you mama" I whisper taking it

"Did you have fun last night?" She asks

"Yes, you know cam and Ryan had this whole balloon, confetti thing, shots, music. It was amazing but I shouldn't have had those shots at all. You know dad there was this human having whiskey with a lemon slice haha like you" I laugh

"You can make fun of me all you want but its nice" he says

"Yeah? I was going to ask him to be friends with you but then I thought that would not be nice" I said

"Really now?" He asks almost pouting

"Yes haha, oh and there were jello but I assume it had alcohol so I didn't have any"

"Those always have alcohol" mom says

"You must know from your party days" I tease

"Yup she does, we used to party at the sterling too" dad says

"Oh my god John stop it" mom says making me laugh

"What? am I lying?" He asks

"No but sweetie we are not promoting drinking"

"I know mama"

"Stella, you can have drinks but only when someone you trust is there, you can let loose all you want. We aren't stopping you at all" dad says

"I understand, you guys are cool parents" I say giggling

"Yes we are" dad says making me laugh

"So mhm Alexander" mama says

I saw a few exchanges between dad and mama, there is something definitely up

"Forget about Alexander stell, why don't you shower and we can go to brunch at that place you like" mama says

"Can I get that milkshake?" I ask

"Ill throw in a cupcake too if you don't tell mama" dad says

"Deal" I whisper back

"And I can hear your side deals, get to the shower Allison and John you sleep on the couch today" mama says

"Nooooo you can't do that to me" dad whines

"Oh I am"

"Mama nooo thats not fair right papa" I ask

"Of course, exactly this is two against one jess" dad says

i nod just like dad and she laughed seeing us

"What do I do with the two of you?" She asks

"Love us" dad says

"And make us cake" I say nodding

"Of course, make us cake, go shower" she said mimicking me

"Mrs brown you are very bad" I say getting up

"Ms stell you are pushing it" she says

"Mr brown handle your wife" I say running into the shower

"Allison" mama yells making me laugh

I showered and then we went to brunch to my favourite place, we even had milkshakes and then mom and dad took me to the park to walk around.

The whole day I spent with them, I love spending time with them, it makes me happy.
