Aanya couldn't let Kai's behavior slide. She confronted him about his earlier comments, emphasizing the importance of unity within a team.

"You should not badmouth your own teammates," she asserted firmly, her gaze steady.

Kai, seething with anger, came to an abrupt stop in the middle of the alley. His eyes flared with rage as he retorted, "They are a bunch of losers, and so are you!"

Undaunted, Aanya continued to challenge him. "We are your teammates for a reason. There's a reason this is a team."

Kai's response was just as unwavering. "I don't care if it's a team or not."

Aanya didn't back down. "And on top of that, you are the captain."

"Mind your own business," Kai snapped as he turned to leave. Aanya clenched her teeth in frustration. It was evident that there was no unity within the team, and their captain's attitude only worsened the situation.

However, their conversation was cut short by the sound of a beyblade clashing. Both Aanya and Kai turned their attention to the source of the commotion. Without hesitation, they ran toward it.

They found their teammates, along with a small green-haired individual. The situation was puzzling, and Aanya and Kai exchanged glances, unsure of what was happening.

The green-haired person launched his beyblade at Ray, but Kai swiftly intercepted the attack. Tyson immediately jumped into the fray, ready to defend his friend.

"He was my friend first, weren't you, Ray?" the green-haired individual taunted with a smirk.

Tyson was about to retaliate, but Aanya intervened, placing her hand in front of him and silencing him.

"What do you want?" Aanya questioned the green-haired person, her voice laced with authority.

"A battle," he replied simply.

Aanya narrowed her eyes at him, her tone stern. "Stay out of this."

The others, except for Kai, were taken aback by her assertiveness. The green-haired individual, Kevin, seemed momentarily surprised but didn't back down.

"As she said, stay out of this, Kevin," Ray reiterated with a threatening tone.

However, Kevin remained persistent. "A battle first. I need a battle."

Aanya clenched her fists in frustration. Ray agreed to the challenge, and Tyson was eager to fight as well, but she was annoyed by Kevin's audacity.

"Fine," Ray consented.

Tyson, not one to back down from a fight, protested, "No way! This is my fight, Ray."

Ray relented and stepped aside, allowing Tyson to take the challenge. Kevin, clearly irritated, muttered disparaging remarks about the team.

"Why are people so desperate to get on my nerves?" Aanya wondered as she watched the impending battle unfold.

Aanya watched as Tyson emerged victorious in his battle against Kevin, who fell to his knees in defeat. She couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction as she poked her tongue against the inside of her cheek, her gaze fixed on Kevin.

However, their confrontation was far from over. Another voice echoed from the dark alley, causing Aanya to narrow her eyes and try to discern the figures that were emerging.

"Mr. Failure," Kevin muttered as he remained on his knees.

Then, two more individuals, a tall boy and a girl with cat-like features, named Mariah and Gary, made their presence known. Mariah questioned Kevin's actions with a stern tone, and Aanya observed their interactions with interest.

Kevin explained his motives, particularly his desire for revenge against Ray, whom he referred to as a traitor. Mariah and Gary exchanged glances with Ray, who appeared conflicted.

Another voice joined the fray, this time a deeper one from a boy in black clothes who taunted Ray. Aanya grew increasingly frustrated with the escalating situation.

Kai, who had remained silent, intervened as Lee, the newcomer, insulted their team. The tension between Kai and Lee was palpable, and Aanya sensed the hostility between them.

Lee declined Kai's challenge and spoke arrogantly, asserting that they would defeat the so-called losers in the upcoming tournaments. Aanya couldn't hold back her anger and retorted, "Give those taunts when you lose, trash."

Mariah tried to provoke Kai further, but he ignored her, further infuriating Aanya. As Lee and his companions prepared to leave, Tyson attempted to defuse the situation and urged the team to focus on their upcoming challenges.

Aanya, still seething with anger, faced Kai, whose eyes were filled with rage as he glared at her. She chose to ignore his hostility and continued walking with the others, leaving behind a tense encounter.

Frustration and tension lingered in the air as the team moved forward, and Aanya couldn't help but worry about the lack of unity within their group.
