Chapter 1
Innocent to Evil
Part 3

Present Day - Storybrooke

A chill ran down Henry's spine as he whispered to himself, "This must be where mom transforms into the Evil Queen."

He leapt up from the creaky bed and scrambled to find a pen and paper. He had to jot down the essential details of his mother's story; there were surely hidden mysteries to be revealed as the story progressed.

"One, Daniel was killed by Cora".

Henry felt a sharp pang in his chest as he remembered that part of the story. He wondered if the man he saw in the stables that day could have been Daniel? He regretfully never had the opportunity to discuss it with his mother.

"Two, the blue fairy... she is for sure a secret villain."

'Tinker Bell was right -- they should have helped his mom.' He thought to himself. Mother Superior was always kind, despite her seemingly judgmental attitude. He suspected this attitude was rooted in the curse that had confined her to Storybrooke as a nun. He wondered if she was somehow connected to his mother's transformation into the Evil Queen.

Three, His mother had once been expecting a baby, and so many questions flooded his mind: 'what had happened to the baby? Had it been a girl? Had his mother lost the baby? Was there a long-lost sister out there somewhere? Was this why his mom had adopted him?' He pondered these questions as he wrote.

And four, 'Snow White, or grandma told my other grandma about mom's relationship with Daniel.' He couldn't help but think his family tree was an absolute mess. He didn't want to dwell on it too much or else Pan's head would start to ache.

Overall, his heart ached for his mother. He wished she never had to experience the pain and suffering she endured. He deeply regretted the way he had treated her after he found out he was adopted. All she had ever done was love him, and he had the best childhood, despite living in a world where people didn't age around him, with just him and his mother - he wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Even in Neverland, all he truly wanted was his adoptive mother. He still loved and missed Emma, but it was Regina who had raised him. Once he returns to his body. Henry made a mental note to sincerely apologize to his mother for his disrespect. He is eager to return home and accept his rightful place as a Mills. He is proud to carry on his grandfather's name, and equally proud to have been named after his mother's first true love, Daniel.

He smiled to himself and then glanced over at the clock; it was almost 3 am, yet he still didn't feel tired. Maybe it was because he was in an older boy's body. He couldn't help but chuckle, quickly remembering that he was in the loft, where someone could easily hear him. He got over his chuckles and continued reading on, desperately needing answers.

The Thief - Regina's Bed Chambers

Tinker Bell left the fairy land.

No, not permanently, just temporarily. She hadn't seen Blue since their heated disagreement, and so Tinker Bell decided to take a risk and bravely escape. She was aware of the dangers that could come with such a decision, but she was deeply concerned for Regina - whose voice and pleas had not been heard this evening; the young woman had been weighing heavily on her heart. She had to make sure Regina was safe, and so she decided to act. She bravely flapped her tiny fairy wings with determination towards the majestic Mills estate.

Many fairies possessed their own unique magical abilities. Tinker Bell was particularly gifted with the power to recognize the strong connection between two souls. She was akin to the mythological
figure of Cupid in her ability to detect and foster love. Upon entering Regina's bedchambers, she never imagined the strange chance meeting between two compatible souls. She wished she had some pixie dust to prove it was real. Thus, she stayed hidden, like a fairy on the wall, and continued to watch the interaction unfold before her fairy eyes.
