I used to care about you
No, I used to love you more than anything else in the world
But you changed that...
with careless words that fell from your lips
to selfish actions that flaunted your control over me
You did this, without a thought for how it made me feel
It's ok though, I forgive you
I thank you from the bottom of my heart, actually
It opened my eyes and I found strength in all of that pain
And it was the key that released me from the prison you held me captive in for so many years
And my only crime...
was loving someone who was truly undeserving
