𝚗𝚎𝚠 𝚘𝚛𝚕𝚎𝚊𝚗𝚜, 𝚕𝚘𝚞𝚒𝚜𝚒𝚊𝚗𝚊
Tensions are high in the Mikaelson house, Rebekah is still angry with Klaus about him biting Elijah and Klaus is doubting Rebekah's loyalty to him. Brinley is just sitting back and watching the show, trying not to get in the middle of their quarrel.
An elaborate breakfast had been set up in the dining room of the plantation house and Brinley was taking advantage of it. Her plate had a stack of pancakes with bacon and eggs with another plate of biscuits and gravy and hash browns.
Rebekah and Klaus were sitting at opposite sides of the table glaring at each other, while Brinley sat unaware enjoying her breakfast.
"Have you spoken to our good friend Marcel today?" Klaus asked his sister as he bit into the wrist of one of the servers, holding the bleeding limb over a glass.
"No, should I have?" Rebekah asked taking a drink of her coffee
"Well, he's been mysteriously silent-- avoiding me, some might say. I thought perhaps he may have whispered reasons into your ear. Along with all of those sweet nothings." Klaus said with mock amusement and a grin making his sister roll her eyes
"If I see him, I'll be sure to ask if he's still sore at you." Rebekah said with a sarcastic grin, glaring at her brother
"Let me give a voice to that look in your eyes." Klaus smirked leaning forward against the table as he mocked Rebekah. "My saintly noble brother lies writhing in agony in the Bayou, victim of my bastard brother's bite, when just one or two drops of his blood would ease his pain."
"On the contrary, Nik, I am simply enjoying my brekkie, with my lovely friend, your baby momma, while waiting for Elijah's healthy return." Rebekah smiled sarcastically
"Oh, come on Rebekah, you've been giving me the devil's eye all morning. Out with it." Klaus said gaining Brinley's attention, the girl looking back and forth between the siblings like watching a ping pong match
"Perhaps I'm concerned that if I voice my opinion about what you did to Elijah, I will end up on the wrong side of your toxic hybrid teeth." Rebekah confessed
"Poppycock! I would never bite you. Elijah made some very offensive accusations about my intentions towards my children and my lovely Brinley. He deserves a day or two of discomfort, I'm sure it won't be all bad since he has his precious Hayley. Besides, you know my preferred method of punishment for your indiscretions is the dagger." Klaus said locking eyes with Rebekah who shook her head with a chuckle
