CHAPTER FOUR

Mr Gilmore hesitated when Ella asked if we could go out with the boys. I could feel the anger in jealous as he clenched his fist to his side.

Until he ultimately agreed. Hesitantly. I made me realize that I needed to stay away from him. Us cannot happen.

Now where in Asher's car driving to god knows where. Ella and Ethan are in the back. I looked back at them. Ethan has his arm wrapped around her and is whispering things into her ear. She looks so damn happy.

I smiled at her and she smile back. I felt so fucking guilty about the feelings I had towards her father. But I can't help but want him. When his tickled my skin the only thing  I could think about is  how much I wanted him.

I could tell he wanted to kiss me so badly it hurt physically and I wanted to do the same. As much as I tease for fun I can see how much I affect him. He had a raging boner and all I wanted to do was fuck him. But I have to stay away.

Asher is a good guy. I could be happy with him. He's amazing. I reached out and grabbed his hand. He turned to me and smiled. I knew everything was going to work out the way it was suppose to.

Asher took us to the lake. It was exactly what I needed to get my mind off of Ella's dad. We walked down to the lake hand and hand. The lake was a place where all the spring break kids came. There was a rope where all the kids jumped off of and a cliff where you can jump off into the water. It was the perfect way to start the rest of our lives.

I immediately started to get undressed until I'm in my underwear and bra. Then I turned to Ella she was hesitating. Ella has never did a risky thing in life. "Ella, I promise that you won't get in trouble. Sometimes we just need to live," I stated trying to convince her. She nods hesitantly.

She walks to the edge of the lake and then takes her clothes off. Ethan joining her making her feel more comfortable. I really like Ethan for her. She seems so much confidence with him.

"They seem like the perfect couple don't they," Asher asks. I looked up at him. He was completely shirtless and in his boxes. His skin covered in tattoos. My mouth was opened wide. His body was made like a piece of art.

I turned my head away from him and looked down at Ella and Ethan. I smiled. "Yeah, there perfect for each other,"

I meet his eyes. A smirk was on the tip of his lips. He caught me staring at his body but he doesn't call me out on it. Great boyfriend material. But I think the last thing I need is a boyfriend.

"Asher, Your really a great guy but-"

"We don't have to be serious right now" he interrupts me. "I understand if you want to take it slow".

Literally perfect.

I nod.

"Ready?" he asked taking my hand.

"Ready" I replied.

We joined Ella and Ethan down at the lake. Ethan lifted Ella by her feet, her screaming her head off, running into the lake. He drops her in the water. But I wanted to jump into the ocean. Like he was reading my mind he pointed to the cliff. I nod happily.

We started walking towards the cliff. He turned toward me and asked, "So do you have any idea what you want to do?"

I shake my head.

"I'm moving into my apartment tomorrow and I start my new job on Monday," I replied.

I'm starting at my new job on Monday at a Luna publishing company. My major was Journalism in college and I got an internship at a Luna's publishing company. Then got a job at the same place.

"What's your new job?" Asher asked.

He seemed really interested in getting to know me. It felt really uncomfortable taking about myself so much. But at the same time it was very sweet that he was trying to get to know me.

"At Luna publishing. Interned there while I was college" I stated. He smiled.

"That's amazing," he replied.

"What about you?" I asked. I wanted to know about more about him.

"I'm a lawyer," he replied nervously. Of course I should have known by the way he was. Confidence, sexy, and a smile that could murder.

Before he could ask me anything else I took his hand and moved to the edge of the cliff. I looked down at the water fall underneath us. Ella and Ethan where both at the bottom. I looked over at him and he nods.

We both jump into the water and came up both at the same time. I jumped up on him and wrapped my legs around his waist. He wrapped my arms around my neck. Instead of being the perfect moment it is interrupted.

Carter Gilmore was staring at me in the face. But he wasn't here. I was looking at Asher. I leaned in and kissed him. Ella screamed happily behind me. I smiled against Asher's lips. I pulled away and looked towards Ella smiling.

But there was a knot in my stomach.
