I entered the kitchen.
"Hey Mrs. Clayton." I said as I approached her
"Honey just call me Ayprll."
"It's gonna take time getting use to." I smiled
"I'm prepared." She smiled back.
"You need help?" I asked
"Sure." Ayprll
I went to wash my hands.
"Can you peel those potatoes, hon?"
"Sure."
I got the peeler started peeling the potatoes.
I was finished peeling the potatoes.
Zach, Ray, and Ty came to the kitchen.
"Here you go." I said giving the bowl of peeled potatoes to Ayprl.
"Thank you honey." Ayprll said grabbing the bowl from me
"Anything else?" I went to the sink and washed my hands.
"No I'm almost done, all I got to do is mash these potatoes."
"Mom what are you cooking?" Zach asked
"Um. Some baked chicken, homemade mashed potatoes and asparagus
"Is asparagus good I never had it." Ray said
"Yeah, its really good." Ayprll said
"I'm gonna sit outside for a while." I said
"Okay sweety, be safe." Ayprll said
"I'm gonna go with you." Zach said.
"I'm gonna play on your play station." Ty said.
"Oh, me too. I call first remote." Ray said running up stairs
"No I'm first remote I said I was gonna play first." Ty ran upstairs after Ray
Me and Zach walk end outside.
"What times is it?" Zach asked feeling in his pockets
"Its-" I stopped
"Oh never mind I found my phone." He took his phone out of his pocket.
I smiled.
"There's that smile I haven't saw in a while." Zach smiled
"You mean thirty minutes ago." I said sarcastically
"Hey thirty minutes is a long time." He smiled.
"I think this the first time you smiled today." I said
"No. I smiled in the dark when you fell on me."
"That doesn't count!" I smiled
"Yes it does." Zach smiled,back
Out of no where a bee flew by me.
"Oh my gosh! No!" I got up and run behind Zach's mom car.
Zach started laughing.
"Is it gone?" I yelled still behind Zach's mom car
"Yeah." Zach said still laughing
Zach sat down on the step.
I walked back and sat down next to Zach.
While I was trying to sit down my hand accidentally touched Zach's hand.
"Oh. Sorry." I took my hand off his hand
"Don't be. Your hands are really soft."
"Thanks." I put my hands together
