Chapter 27

My mom drove us home.

Chloe had a ton of homework so she went home so she went home and because she knew I could be distracting .

I went in my room and I had nothing to do.

So I laid on my bed and put my headphones in.

I put my music on shuffle and pressed play.

"Kid in love by Shawn Mendes" played and remember that this was me and Zach's song.

I put my phone on my heart and just listened to every word also remembered all of our moment together.

I could helps tears. Tears of joy.

I texted Zach.

Me: Our song is on

Zach: What song?

Me: Really? Our first song that we ever texted to each other 'Kid In Love'

Zach: Oh yeah I remember

Zach: That should be me by Justin Bieber just came on

Me: That's such a throw back

Zach: I know but, I feel like this song describes me in this whole thing😞

Me: I don't you to think like that, because your my boyfriend, you will always gonna be that person that holds my hand and make me laugh😘

Zach: How am gonna do that when I can't be with you?

Me: You can still love me as much as you do even if I'm far away.

Zach: I can but it'll be hard.

Me: it's hard for me too but we gotta stay strong

Dakota called me.

I answered.

"Hey, beautiful." Dakota said as I answered

"Hi." I said a bit awkward

"I just wanted to see if you wanted to come to the game."

"Yeah sure, I'll be there."

Apparently the conversation with Zach was over because he did respond.

I went up to my parents room.

"Mom can you take me to school?"

"Why, you just came from there."

"I know but Dakota wants me to come and watch his soccer game."

"Oh, okay. Let's go."

We went down stairs and then went in the car.

"So do you like this kid?" My mom said starting the car

"As like a best friend. But I use to have this huge crush on him." I said smiling

"Really? how come I didn't know about this?" My mom said pulling out of the drive-through

"Because my love life is lowkey." I said putting my seatbelt on

"What's lowkey?"

"Nothing mom, just forget it."

"Ok. Did you fix things with Zach?"

"Yeah. we're okay now." I smiled

"That's good because you seemed like you loved him."

"I do." I continued smiling
