A Phantasy Script Part 7

Part 7:

Within a giant laboratory, hundreds upon thousands of pods are attached to walls and the ceiling. The pods being the very ones that Androids are rebuilt from, after their previous versions have been destroyed. Not being the only Androids aboard Pioneer Two, (Berd, Elenor and Jokesum) many other Androids are also newly created here. Rangers and Hunters, male and Female version of the two classes are created from highly engineered equipment. With a tweak to the system, each new Hunter or Ranger is then given a section identification sigil. The sigil, when worn, acts like a random number generator that creates boxes of any kind for the user. From Meseta, the used currency aboard Pioneer Two, to weapons, armour and frames for defense. Jokesum, the Male Ranger Android, is within one of these very pods. His stability is fine, though his body is not ejected from the pod to signify that he is ready to be awoken. A slim figure approaches Jokesums pod, watching him like a science experiment being judged for its success. 

Slim Figure: His mind is not here. Are we sure that he will reconnect to his body at all?

Another figure approaches the slim figure, this one a bulky being.

Bulky Being: Well, he did already connect the two hearts and communicate through them. I'm sure he'll find his way back, though where did he connect to? Alpha?

The being known now as Alpha, approaches them both though hides themselves within the shadows.

Alpha: Doctor Montague has made progress on the VR world, though slight tweaks are needed. That is where.

S.F: So, how does his mind connect there? Like the two bosses were systematically connected? 

B.B: Seems so. Did you see the tally of deaths that Jokesum had against Vol Opt? Geez, he must have really wanted some weapon or shield! 

Alpha: So. We wait, or help the party there? 

S.F: What do you mean help? There is no need to tamper with things from our end. Montague has this. 

B.B: Did any of you catch how he connected to the heart during Dark Falz? 

Alpha: Beta, how did you watch?

Stepping into a light, the now named Beta shows their full being. A Ranger Male Android. Bulky, heavily armoured with a metallic box shaped head upon their shoulders. 

Beta: The live feed. The previous Principle had cameras almost everywhere. Shame he never caught his daughter Rico on any of them. 

S.F: Well, Rico should have known that her father would never just let her go like that without trying to find her at least. 

Alpha: Omega, did she contact you also about the party that she was previously with?

The now named Omega nods, still within the shadows though.

Omega: So, she mentioned that there was a Hunter Male that could move thoroughly fast causing massive damage to enemies within the ruins. 

Beta: Yes. Thank Bob that we have video evidence of it too, I'm sure the council will approve of the techniques he used to dispatch the enemies as well. 

Alpha: Good. The last thing that the Hunter needs is more trouble, considering where they are. So, have we tried shocking the body of Jokesum to see if that would cause Berd pain? 

Beta steps back, showing some concern for what Alpha has just said. 

Beta: Whoa! Are you serious? Alpha, that's causing damage to a being that cannot control V2's heart.

Alpha steps into a light, showing their fully form. A Hunter Female Android. Purple and white colour over their form.

Alpha: And? Why do you care, Beta? What, just because you are a Ranger Android? Pfft! Like that matters!

Omega: Your logic is broken, Alpha. Of course Beta has concerns. And you should not be so quick to judge their way of thinking so harshly, Beta. You both are Android, therefore you do see both sides of the Meseta so to speak.

Omega suddenly lights the area in a warming orange light, they are a Force Male. His hands glow from a Foie technique being ready to be used. Beta looks at the tall slim Force and nods in agreement.

Beta: Okay, I'm in agreement with this. Alpha, your idea of shocking Berd is a good way of seeing if shocking Jokesum affects the 'Droid. However, please see it from my perspective; you could cause some serious damage to the V2 heart as well as Berd.

Alpha holds their chin, thinking about what has been said by both beings.

Alpha: I realise that, from a fellow Android Ranger perspective, you will feel worried about both Berd and the V2 heart. So, how about a compromise?

Omega: You mean, like a short burst of something through Jokesums conduit body to contact Berd?

Alpha: Well, that could work too.
